Lettuce itself oh, no you shouldn't count it but a salad loaded with things like crispy noodles eggs dressing french fries you know that kind of shit you got to count it
But straight lettuce or broccoli or spinach that does not need to be counted
Few exceptions for vegetableswould be peas and or carrots they do have a bit of glycemic index to them not much though

Like for instance I used to manage a pizza Joe's and we have the veggie pizza which is cauliflower broccoli and ranch dressing is the sauce with three cheese blend is the cheese
I used to try but I couldn't to scare people away from that that were trying to lose weight.
Sometimes I would just leave the nutritional information on the counter some people would catch notice of it and kind of balk at what they read
Slice for slice the veggie pizza had two times the calories and almost three times the amount of fat and significantly more carbs due to the ranch dressing
The same one for the salads fucking handfuls of french fries shity cheap steak or chicken tons of shredded cheddar cheese I would tell people to better off just ordering a pizza
