Man i have the worse luck!!!!!!!!!!!beyond pissed
well today i went to the pharmacy to get my test filled for my trt,and it was my last one,so i had the pharmacist call my endo and get me another presrcrition, and the nurse told her that that had lowered my dose to 150mg/week!!...and i have been on 300mg/week for a long time, everything has been coming together,i got my estro down and i was actually feeling better.
My last appt with him was the last week of april, and my test results was 487ng/dl.......and my endo told me to stay on the same dose 300mg/week and so did his nurse when she called and gave me my blood test results,im so friggin pissed right now,ive called my endo several times tonight, and left messages, and im gonna call him first thing in the morning,he better take 5 mintues and talk to me,i live 70 miles from his office, and i am not spending the money for this high ass gas to drive down for an appt, hes got some explaining to do,pronto!! and if he doesnt put my dose back up to 300mg/week,i am going to tell him or his nurse to kiss my MFing ass and i will medicate myself with my trt,ic ould just knock his friggin teeth out
sorry for the rant guys, but im just so pissed right now!!!!!

i hear you on that, getting ahold of the endo can be really tough since all nurses want to do is leave him a note which he seems to never see, whats worked for me is just constant calling, they will get really pissed and end up putting him on the phone finally

Lol, awesome post man. Roid rage from TRT....time to back off the dose bro

That aint roid rage ....I can always tell someone who deals with a doc or endo.....often mistaken as roid rage but in reality it's much worse than a little aggression, that's pure unadulterated aggravation, most often caused by a nurse or answering machine but also possibly by a doc who doesn't know shit. LOL I'll bet with a little explanation of your situation and how you feel along with a review of your BW that he'll give you your script......it'll be fine bro. A bit of a pain in the ass when your doing well and someone pulls the carpet out from under you, isn't it, damn doctors!! Give em a call and it'll all workout well I'm sure.

I count myself lucky in that my Dr calls me back or at least his staff provides answers I can use.
In the Drs defense
The dosage change may have been in the notes feild of your sheet and been interupted as a script change. I think the way to handle this would be going more towards "hey I thought my dose was going to stay at 300 like we talked about since everything seems to be going well now, but I got my script and it was for a dif dose. Which one do you want me to take and why?"
then after he blows you off you have the right to rage.

i dont think i fully understand your post..
you said you had a refill left, why would the endo need to be called then? then even so, even if dose was lowered...you needed a fvcking refill right??????? what size vials do you pickup/refill??????????????
did the pharmacy say you must still have enough in the vial you picked up previously and sent you packin?

If I was the doc and saw numerous vm's from you one thing would come to mind. Junkie/Rage and that would set off red flags. Patience is a virtue guy.
Secondly if your #'s are going up and close to leveling off he could be dropping the dosage to see how the lesser dose does #'s wise most any doc will do that to see at some point or another if your body is adjusting with the lesser amount of TRT.

I'm not amazed your doctor won't return your calls, I'm amazed you got 300mg/wk to start with!

I saw your smiley and recognized the sarcasm......my post was meant to be good natured not arguing about roid rage or believing that it was.....I should stick a smiley in MY posts from time to time........
It sucks to bust your ass too get your health back and then get blindsided by something like this and yes it can be a concern to say the least, Bullseye is just blowin some steam to his brothers....nothing wrong with that, I'm sure it will get corrected at the docs office and all will be fine. With test levels of 487 I don't think his doc is going to suspect anything except a man who doesn't want to end up feeling like shit, it certainly doesn't suggest someone on a "cycle".......we're all different.Last edited by JD250; 05-18-2011 at 10:34 AM.

actually its 600 mgs every 10 days if i am not mistaken! which is still an amazing TRT dose! but there is a reason why the high dose, Bullseye posted on other topic the reasons for high TRT dose.
Hey Bullseye, hang in there bro, i am sure things will workout, if not then time for another endo!
-

he is 6'6" 320lbs.. so how is that any different than someone 205lbs getting 200mg per week??? his blood levels were perfectly in range..
Bullseye.. i am sure that your doctor is nervous do to the high dose being above recommended doses... i am sure you will be able to figure something out

has the size/weight of the man been determined a factor in trt dosage? i've seen that topic come up before but its rare...i didnt think it mattered much or at all...but interesting...
BUT/AND...I GO TO MY PHARMACY JUST AN HOUR AGO AND NOT THE DOCTOR GIVING ME PROBS BUT THE SQUEAKY AS$ PHARMACIST LADY....ITS TOO SOON..BLAH BLAH...i called my doctor and i'm hoping they will overide...i explained to the nurse that it does me no good to have an rx for 10ml vial with 6 refills in a 6month time period....my dose is ridiculously low(200mg e3w) but since i could always refill as often as every month i never bothered asking for it to be upped........GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. ..i, however, only called once...not repeatedly like our veiny headed op bullseye

i have good Friends in countries where you can buy testosterone over the counter, and they have doctor Friends, they can hook me up with a doctor there, get me a script of few 100 cc vials and bring them home with me along with a script! I love America, but it sucks when it comes to FDA crap!

I don't want to be the forum killjoy on my third post, but I can see why a physician with 8 years of college would balk when he sees a guy who is obviously "on the luice" walk into his office. Just like a guy who is obviously a junkie wanting painkillers, you wouldn't need the controversy messing up your practice. Arnold Schwarzenegger admitted bodybuilding isn't really healthy. Blue Cross draws the line at prescribing massages or plastic surgery. Lots of guys here want to "con" a doctor. I can see why they'd be on the lookout for guys trying to play the system. Looking for testosterone they don't really need. OK, let me have it.

well i guess "guy" if you knew all the circumstances and problems ive had with my test problems you would understand,i hope you never have to deal with such problems as i....if you do,then you might understand......and no,im not raging as you put it,i want to feel like a normal man, like everyone,so dont be so quick to judge someone who you dont know the entire story behind it all....and for the record,i was just blowing off steam cause i was pissed at the time, like everyone has those kind of days, and whats going to happen when the dose is cut in half?....back to feeling like shit,no energy etc......just wait till you go through andropause ,you will indeed know what you are talking about then guy

ok GUY, What I said was if I was the doctor, you could see my or any doctors point if you called him a shit ton of times, first and foremost you are trying his patience and secondly if you show that much attention to something like that it is going to throw up a flag to any doctor that actually cares about his career and practice.
I get your point of he is ****ing with your script but in the same respect he is doing this to FIX your problem, which I do not deny that is isnt but what if at some point he lowers the dosage or takes you off of it completely, what are you going to do then? Flip out about it? You are looking a gift horse in the mouth so to speak at the levels he had you on compared to what is the average or norm for people in your situation.Last edited by jtuner77; 05-19-2011 at 11:35 AM.

it is very rare for a trt dose to be above 200mg ew and bullseyes 600mg and then 300mg cut back were the first i've ever heard...and like you stated at nearly 300lbs, i've never heard a man's weight being an issue in determining dose...i've only heard that theory here and there....but..
dude..is that you in your avy...wut r ur stats now if so and a little about your trt please
