    Vit B-6 injections.

New to me, anyone have any experience with injectable v-6? Seen some around and was wondering if its worth my while and what the effects are?

Many places carry a B complex sub-lingual, I like it. I tried B12 injections, too many shots and sub-lingual is proven to work well and it's cheaper.

I have used the B12, could be a placebo for all I know. Did absolutly nothing for me other than cost about 100 bucks.

I would have to wonder if sticking yourself for b6 is worth it. As in, what is the advantage over taking it orally whether sublingual or swallowed?

Because I can think of a major downside... injecting it and dealing with all the possible, albeit unlikely, complications of that.

A good amount of b12 is destroyed when administered orally. However, I fail to see its benefit unless you have a deficiency. Over standard supplementation that is.

There is a benefit when lifting heavily and putting stress on the nervous system, the only way to get a fair amount into your system is either sub-lingual or inject.

I read an interesting article on what alcohol consumption does to your b 12 levels, not good, I'll see if I can find it.

Not sure of the scientific approach, but alcohol depletes your body of b vitamins, which is one of the symptoms of a hangover. I have a friend who swears by b12 after a night of drinking. Where drinking in excess to achieve a hangover is bad for many reasons, b12 is not going to cure a hangover. I tested this theory atfter a friend's bachelor party a few years ago. I never drink, but had a few too many. Gave myself a shot of b12 before going to sleep and still woke up with a hangover. Water is your only friend when it comes to alcohol.

In general, alcohol is bad for everything. I believe alcoholics are one of the few groups who are also low in biotin, where a low status is almost unheard of. b12 is also one of the few vitamins that can be stored for a long time, months or years I believe.
