Testes atriphied even with HCG. Is this normal?

So, I've been on HRT for about 3 months now and feel great. I've been taking 200mg/Test C weekly and 700 units of HCG /week. I've noticed that my testes are artriphied quite a bit and are about 1/2 the size they were prior. I would think that with the HCG this shouldn't happen but I'm curious if I'm not taking enough HCG or if something else might be going on. I don't have any pain at all which is good but I would def. want to get the boys back to a fairly normal size.

Any thoughts?

Are you taking the 700iu in one shot? or how is it split up? should be 2-3 times per week

I'm splitting it up into two shots, one on Monday and one on Friday.

Same result here. My bawls shrunk at least 30% and I am on 500iu per week.

It does seem to help compared to when I was not on HCG , but not 100% by any means.

Whats the brand of HCG ?

Where did you get the HCG?

How have you stored it?

I started (what I think was legit HCG late) but agree that it is not 100%. Not sure thats a claim for HCG though either. I'm day 10 of my PCT and with SERMS things are coming back nicely. So maybe thats more of what HCG is supposed to do??? Help recovery as opposed to stopping atrophy altogether?

OP - First answer HRT's questions; these are important.

Secondly, is what you are injecting pharmacy grade?

Thirdly, did you reconstitute correctly?

HCG is an LH analog meaning that the body will respond to it almost identically to LH so while there is minimal testicular shrinkage with HCG you should not be having the problems you're having if all is done correctly.

As a suggestion, you'd be better served injecting smaller doses more frequently like 250 iu 3 times a week; helps control E2 and especially intratesticular E2.

The only issue I can think of is that I did drop the bottle of HCG after I mixed it? I know you need to be careful with this stuff but I'm not sure if that would cause this problem. It is pharmacy grade and not UGL as I got it prescribed to me so shouldn't be any issues there.

When I reconstituted it I didn't shake the bottle. I slowly added the Bacterialstatic water with the vial at an angle and swirled it around until mixed.

I have read repeatedly that many people think that hCG merely slows the inevitable shrinkage of balls. Whether it will slow it to months, years, or decades is not clear to me, but as I say many think even with hCG it will happen.

I would be interested to see if the vets disagree and believe that legit hCG should halt ball shrinkage 100% permanently?

How long did it take for u to notice the shrinkage?

I'm on only my third week of 200 mg of T and I've been taking 250 ius every 3 days. Well really it's Friday, Sunday, Tuesday but still three times a week. I haven't seen any shrinkage yet.

Make sure it's not old, after you mix it pre-load it and freeze it that's what I have been doing for over a year now and works well.

Also I find that compounded is not consistant at all, I have tried 4 different kinds of HCG and the Norvel / Ovidac is by far better then the compounded and most consistant as well. I used to get my HCG from Crisler if that matters and I know one of the compounders he used had some legal issues so it prob has other things going on.

It can stop atrophy completely, and you can reverse atrophy, mine were smaller due to no hcg, once I started they came back a bit, but they fluctuate a bit in size. You can get desensitized to hcg, so you need to be careful there and don't overdo it. not to mention I swear some vials end up more potent then others or dwindle by the end of the vial, hard to gauge because sometimes my nuts feel huge othertimes sub par. It also depends on the person however, not sure how things work if your testes are damaged and you are type 1 hypo gonadal, HCG is basically useless from what I know, but can't back up the effect on testes size other than say more than likely it won't work.

My Doc has me go off the HCG for a month every year. Been on TRT about close to 4 years and the boys are smaller, better than hanging and sticking to my leg....

This is what i cant figure out. Do you mean. The or actual testicles?
