So a lot of folks have suggested a false high reading, and LowT Mike commented on getting the cream near the elbow joint can cause issues. I've been applying on the inner bicep, and quite often get the cream down towards the top of the inner elbow joint. I'm wondering if this is the cause and I've scheduled more bloodwork through privatemdlabs for next week.

Oh YES! If you have cream on the inside of your elbow, that needle could get the testosterone cream on it and it will blow your test! lol

Your next test should help out a LOT buddy.

Good possibility. My rule is no gel on the blood draw arm for two days.

Just wanted to follow up on this. Redid my BW this monday and just got the results. TT came back at 255 (range 348 - 1197) and FT of 6.78 (5.0 - 21.0). So, quite a difference from my previous lab! I did avoid cream on the arm for 4 days prior, so I am not sure if was a borked original lab or the inner bicep issue.

no. Its a false positive reading. not actual serum T levels. Sort of tricks the test.
