    Newbie TRT questions.

I had my levels checked prior to my first cycle. They were low. went back 2 weeks later and they were 2 point just above being low. I ran a Test E only cycle and am going in soon to have my levels checked again. My question is this, I haven't done any studying on TRT except read whats on this forum. Are there different types of TRT? Meaning, Pins, Oral, etc? Does the Dr. give you a choice of what or how to implement TRT? I'm 43 and obviously new to this. Do you have to go to the Dr every time or do they prescribe it for you and you self administer? Any help here guys is appreciated.

Did you run a proper PCT after your cycle?
TRT can be gels, injections or pellets. If injections are chosen you should not have to go in to the doc's office for them. He would instruct you how to do so on your own. Keep in mind most doc's are not trained in hormones so self education is key for you. Know what you're getting into.

Take the time and read the sticky threads at the top of this forum. I'd also suggest you pick up a book or two to read:

"Testosterone A Man's Guide" by Nelson Vergel

    or

"Testosterone for Life" by Eugene Shippen

Either book will open your eyes and begin your education for this phase of your life.

Thanks for the input. I'm in my 2nd week of PCT. Started with 100/clomid, 40/tamoxifen & 100HCG. I understand from some that HCG has no lace in PCT. Just following what I know has worked for a few guys that I know. You mentioned pellets, what exactly is that? Are those placed under the skin? Which is most beneficial/advantageous?

Stop the hcg immediately. It has no place in PCT with serms and is suppressive of your natural testosterone production. There are pct plans where hcg is used BEFORE serms, but not with.

Pellets look like small rice that are implanted just under the skin of the buttocks (hip) area. They slowly release testosterone and can last about 3 months before you do it again. Google it. Also new in the states is Testosterone Undeconoate (Aveed) which is the longest estered testosterone. After a loading phase injections are only about once every 10 weeks, blood work contingent.

    All about Aveed:
