I cut back a tad on the aftershock (15 carb, 15 sugar) and had 8oz orange juice with it (24g carb/sugar) - I would say I consumed about 50g's total. It's still more than 10g/iu but I did lower it a tad from yesterday. Tomorrow is a non-workout day and i'll try to get it exactly at 10g/iu and see how I feel.
I shot 4iu's at 6:35pm - had my shake at 7:00pm. Next shake (vitargo and protein) will be at 8:30pm (the big spike form Humulin r) unless I feel funny before then.

Exactly, I plan on doing exactly what Haz has just stated. Start high on the carbs, then lower accordingly. I dont wanna gain 15lbs and increase my waist by 2" lol. I wanna stay exactly where im at AND go up 15lbs! lol.
And im not small either LBSOMEIRON lol, but yes, Haz is bigger (and 1" taller) lol

OK I just downed my 2nd shake (Vitargo 52.50g carb & whey 72g protein)
I decided to wait till 8:45 to see if any hypo feelings would happen..... nothing. I might bump up to 6iu's tomorrow.....
Next meal will be around 9:45-10:00pm (2cups white rice and chicken - possibly another shake)

My diet varies..... here's what I try to get in on a regular basis:
6-7am - 8 eggwhites, 1 cup oatmeal, 4 slices turkey bacon, and sometimes 2 slices ezekial bread
9am - protein shake
12-1pm - 2 cups brown rice and 1lb chicken
3pm - protein shake
4pm - nox shake (pre-workout)
the rest is my PWO shake and insulin regiment.
My diet is largly dictated by what my job requires me to do. Sometimes I have surgeries and can't eat..... sometimes I have to settle for 2-3 egg whites and a whole grain english muffin and a protein bar..... It really all depends on what time I have to be out of the house and what I have to do that day.
Training is as follows:
Monday - Chest/Bi's
Tuesday - Legs
Wednesday - off
Thursday - Back and Tri's
Friday - Off
Saturday - Shoulders & Traps
Sunday - Off
This split seems to be doing really really well for me. I used to train back and tris on tuesday but having 2 days between chest/bi's and back/tri's is nice. It lets me go balls to the wall without getting over sore.

What day are you on Haz with your slin? Up any weight yet? Strength?
-
10-20-2010, 05:57 PM #56
day 3 today - 6iu's shot at 6:30pm - I wont be weighing myself until saturday.
I just feel more "full" allllll day long. When I wake up in the morning.... I feel like I got done working out LOL! So far I havn't once felt a hypo feeling. My hands have been shaky a few times but idunno if thats the beginning of going hypo or if it's my nerves..... I definately am feeling more "calm" now but I wont be comfortable until I get used to 10iu's LOL
Strength gains are going to be tough to measure while being on test/tren .
so far today:
6:30pm - 6iu's
6:55pm - 3 scoops of Aftershock (45g's carb/sugar and 52g's protein) - also 6oz orange juice
at 8:30pm i'll have my vitargo and protein shake (70g carbs and 72g protein)
at about 10:00 i'll have my rice and chicken.

Hazard - why the Virtago at 8:30? Why not two meals after the 'aftershock'? and/or just the Vitargo post workout?
I see you went about 25 minutes post slin.....trying to tease yourself into hypo for a minute?

I was trying to get a feel for how long it was going to take till I went hypo and it never happened. So I took my aftershock..... no probs. I then downed my vitargo and protein.... no problems. I then waited until 10:30 to eat my rice and chicken..... no problems. Then 11:45pm hits..... and im sitting in my chair with a blanket over my legs. Everything got CRAZY hot..... started sweating..... and I started feeling a little dizzy. Not gunna lie..... I freaked a little LOL! I was a little scared because I ate 2 cups of rice just an hour before and didn't know why I was going hypo. Only thing I can conclude is the meal didn't digest yet. I jumped outa my chair and ran for the fridge to chug my OJ...... when I got there.... IT WAS GONE! My wife drank it!
LMAO she was like "Wtf is wrong with you!?" I said "Nothing.... just in the mood for some junk food....." and I grabbed the tiny bit of ice cream that was in the freezer and poured non-fat caramel sauce on it. I NOM'd that shit right down and no lie..... within seconds I felt better. I sat back down and everything was fine.... no more problems. I also felt like a fvckin house for the rest of the night LOL
So today I'm doing something different.....
PWO 5iu's instead of 6. Aftershock and OJ 15 minutes after my shot. 45 minutes after my shot i'll eat a meal of rice and chicken. I'll have the vitargo and protein on hand just in case. I'll eat a 2nd meal of chicken and rice when I get home approx 2 hours after my shot. if everything goes well..... i'll have the vitargo and protein before bed. If I go hypo...... i'll drink my shake sooner.

The first time you go hypoglycaemia you will completely understand why diet is key to insulin , and I applaud you for following it to a T thus far... plz continue..
Insulin can add sheer mass much faster then any other compound out their IMO.
It can definitely mess you up though as well.
One of my first hypo experiences ended up with a ride to the hospital in an ambulance.... Trust me, when you're hypo you can't get a sentence out, hell you can't even sit up, you feel practically comatose.
Let me be the first to tell you as well, that paramedics do NOT usually assume low-blood glucose is the primary cause when they are trying to resuscitate you, especially when you are NOT diabetic/don't have a medical alert bracelet on... Which can definitely cause some issues/mis-diagnoses.
That's not even mentioning the scolding you'll get from a team of MD's and specialists once you get brought back to reality. Always a fun time.
So what were my gains? well, I got a $150 ambulance bill; a $850 hospital bill; and I got to send a whole day hooked up to an IV while getting yelled at by not one, but rather a team of doctors. (definitely not a "priceless." experience haha!)
What I'm trying to say I guess is.... please be careful! haha. and most importantly, don't deviate from the plan.

Haz, sounds to me like your hypo is caused by you using the long acting slin, causing spikes much later than expected. After injection you gotta wait/worry for like 6 hours or something like that, where as the fast acting slin (the one im gonna take) should only spike within a few hours. Either way, good to know youre keeping track of your times and eating schedule. I cant wait to start.
LBS- whos the guy in your avatar?

It's the same principle tho..... it's just that most of the dosage hits 2 hours post injection. After that it shouldn't be too bad. My friend swears by the humulin r..... he's used 15iu's 3x a day and hasn't had problems. He used 10iu's novalog pwo and went hypo.....
