AntiSmallness' Precontest Cycle
Hey everyone, I am new to this site...have a buddy who recommended it to me. This log will contain my precontest cycle, along with progress on the cycle. I will also try to keep an updated track of training progress and diet.
I am 24yrs old....6'4, and have been training for roughly 4 years now.
As of monday I am 16 weeks out from a contest....Weighed in at 290 on monday
Cycle:
1-4 Dbol 50mg daily
1-12 test prop 500mg/week
1-12 EQ 600mg/week
8-16 masteron
12-16 anavar
nolva 20mg
will be adding various things like clen ,t3 along the way
will be back later to post current diet...time to eat!

Damn bro 290 is insane...
My only suggestion would be using drol over dbol . I liked the hardness/fullness i got from it from the short time i used it.. Also it surpress the appetite a fair bit too.

7:30 12 egg whites

9:30 1 1/2 chicken breasts
3/4 cup brown rice
11:30 same as meal 2
1pm train #1
2 post workout shake

6 same as meal 2
8:30 steak or lean beef

Been very busy eating my 8-9 meals a day, and training 2x/day. havent been doing a good job updating this, I will try to do better.
So I am now 15 weeks out...still around 290 in the morning. First few weeks or so just trying to add some quality muscle and take the bf down a bit. Dbol is starting to show it self as i feel more aggressive in the gym and the weights seem to be going up now. Really waiting for the eq and prop to kick in.
cardio at 630am 40 mins of tread work
did back around 1pm today
pulldowns 3 sets
barbell rows 4 sets
seated row 3 sets
incline rows 3 sets
straight arm pd 3 sets
low back ext 3 sets
biceps at 7pm (small bi workout, trying to bring up arms so I train them
2x/week)
db curls 30x15 50x12 55x10 60x9
preacher curl 3x95x10

Did legs yesterday, things are definately kicking in...squats were up 30lbs.
leg workout:
squat 4sets
leg press 4 sets
hack 4 sets
ext 4sets
seated leg curl 3 sets
standing leg curl 3 sets
sldl 3 sets
calves: standing raises 4x30 leg press 4x30

woke up did some cardio this morning....traps are destroyed from yesterday, which is good (lord knows I need more traps).
Trained arms a little bit ago, had a disgusting pump.

heres whats going on....
13.5 weeks out now...weight is at 295 (yes, up 5 lbs). Feeling tighter, so hopefully I am shredding some fat, seems like I am gaining some lean mass here the first few weeks. Starting at 12 weeks out I am dropping carbs from 500 to 400g/day and adding clen . I imagine since I am teetering on the edge of losing weight/gaining lean muscle, that when I drop the carbs and add the clen that the fat will shred faily quickly. Metabolism is like a train right now, Im eating 8 meals a day, after I eat I feel hungry very quickly (possible a side of the EQ). Strength is going back up...for now.
here was todays workout (yes, I like volume!)
back:
pullups 3x7,6,6
barbell row 135x15 225x15 275x12 315x8
incline db row 50's 3x10-12
seated row 220x12 235x12 250x10
seated row wide grip 220 3x10-12
hammer pulldown (just left side) 4x10-12 (left lat is slightly smaller than right due to past injury)
low back ext 3x20 holding a 25

HAHA, I was just joking aroung man. Offseason calories are usually around 5000-5500. When I started this diet, the calories were just slightly less than offseason, and then I just changed the diet to more protein and less carbs. Offseason carbs were around 800 this past offseason.

It's a pretty old thread , but I'm about the same number of weeks away from my first ever show and I was interested to know how that cycle worked out for you.
The show I'm doing is competition reserved for first-timers, the heaviest category are the heavyweights and the division starts at 198 lbs. At 6'2 I certainly need to come in heavier than that . At present at I'm 225 ~12%BF so that is 198 lbs LBM, at 5% BF that would mean around 208 lbs, factor in some dehydration and I would expect to be able to be about 203 on comp day.
As of Today I have 24 weeks before the show. Ideally I would want a couple more pounds LBM and come in on contest day at 220 (100 kg), I'm sure a 16-20 week cycle can give me the 10-12 lbs of LBM that are missing.
To start I will have
1x Test 400 400mg/ml, 10ml
1x EQ 300mg/ml, 10ml
1x Deca 300mg/ml, 10ml
1x Anadrol 25mg, 100 capsules
1x Clenbuterol 200mcg/ml, 50ml
1x Clomid 50mg, 50 capsules
I thought with what I have available I would run a cycle in line with yours by running
1-7 Anadrol 50 mg/d
1-10 Test 400 mg/wk
1-10 Deca 300 mg/wk
1-10 EQ 300 mg/wk
11-20 Test Prop 200mg/eod
11-20 Tren A 75mg/eod
15-20 Anavar 50mg/day
19-20 Masteron 100mg/day
20+ PCT including HCG as per the "unofficial how to do PCT" in the stickies in the PCT forum.
I figure that would fill the gap.
