    I got a new squat for you to try... its called "2x4" squats

    what you do is put a 2x4 on the ground high side up and do squats where your butt touched the 2x4... and they feel GREAT!!!!

    Dude, you are sick! I would give that a try if it would make my legs blow up like yours, but I am quite certain the only thing that would blow is one (if not both) of my knees.

    Week 3 update:

    Well, ladies and gentlemen, week 3 of my cycle has come to a close. It was a great week of working out, with my weights increasing ever so steadly as the days go on. As I mentioned on my mid week entry, my leg strength increase if noticeable, especially to my standards. I also got 275 on the bench 5 times tonight, which is a rarity. I took my fifth shot on thursday, with no soreness. As bermich mentioned in another thread, I was moving the needle around ever so slighty and it was causing soreness. I, also, think that the muscle bellies of my quad are getting used to the BA in the QV gear and also used to the extra amount of room that 1.5cc's of oil engulfs. As far as the mental aspect, the only thing I am noticing is a sense of lethargy. Im tired at weird times throughout the day. Its funny in a sense, I have had soreness, test flu, acne, and lethargy so far. Man, I think Im a candidate for sides, lol.

    Tonight is halloween, so Im making this entry short. Im fixing to go enjoy a FEW drinks w/ my friends, eat my cheat meal (large chicken ranch pizza), and hopefully wake up tomorrow to my gators whipen up on Georgia.

    My weight is up to 194.5 lbs as of tonight and I have an update pick (I dont notice much of a change as far as appearance. I do notice it, as I mentioned earlier, in my strenght gains. Its also only the end of week three which could account for the lack of noticeable gains):

    Bornbad, honestly my sides are a little more then expected. I knew of all of the sides possible, but I, like most people, had the mentallity that most or all wouldnt happen to me. Like I said earlier, I have already been sick, had extreme soreness, and lethargy. I have also, recently, been experiencing the more "happier" sides. I have been noticing an ever so increasing sex drive, strength increases, and pumps that are easy to obtain and that stay for up to an hour after my workout. These are definantly coming from either the deca or the test., because Im on my 4th week of the deca and 3rd week of the the test.

    Update Week 4:

    Well, ladies and gentlemen, week four has came to a close. My diets and workouts have been going great, with the exception of Sat. Sat, I didnt get much of a food intake, because the first 4 waking hours of my day I was with a lady I met Fri. night after homecoming. Well, needless to say, but we were going at it for that long and I didnt get all of the food intake I needed that day. I, also, drank a little on Fri. night, because it was my colleges homecoming weekend and we had celebrations that night (Gator Growl!) I did try to supplement this though, by consuming alot of milk thistle and cranberry juice.

    My weight is up to 199.5 lbs as of this past Thurs. I honestly still cant tell any noticible physical changes, but I do notice an increase in strength. Lifts are becoming alot easier and I have alot more control over the weight. My hypothesis is that my stablizing muscle are beginning to equal out w/ my standard skeletal muscle.

    Now on the opposite end of the spectrum, I have some comments to make. My sex drive is starting to go up and up (remember Im just finishing my 4th wk of deca and 3rd wk of test. enan.). One thing I have notice, and dont laugh, is that I can SMELL females more and more now. I can pick up a females "feminant" scent more and it drives me nuts(horny wise). Now here is the funny part. Girls that are less attractive to me dont really have this "scent" I speak up. Yet, girls that are mildly attractive and up have a stronger scent and I feel more attractive to them. Funny huh?

    Another psychological change I have noticed has to do with my dreams. They are becoming more vivid. Lastnight I really didnt have a dream, but the nights before (thurs, fri, etc) my dreams seemed more vivid and real to life. For example, instead of just seeing a touch during a dream, I feel it. Colors and the objects in my dreams are also more vivid and clear. My energy is up and Im moving through the lethargy state. Im guessing my body is adjusting to the test. and my immune system and energy are starting to pick up.

    My ejaculation is becoming thinner in consistancy and my nuts do seem to itch everynow and them, I have heard from some of you fellas this is normal. They are shrinking every so steadly, so Im figuring their atrophy has something to do with it. As of lately no bad sides and Im only experiencing good ones.

    I have and update pick for week 4 like I said, not alot of change, but tell me what you fellas think:

    Week 5 update:

    Well ladies and gentlemen week 5 has come to a close. Again, it has been a great week of working out. In fact yesterday I had to cut my bicep routine short, because the Avenger machine was giving me insane pumps. Im not to sure yet if the pumps are coming from the "gear" or if its just a good pump. The pumps dont last any longer then they did before I was on, but they do seem to be a little more intense. My strength has increased a little, expecially on bench, but not alot. Like I said in week four update, I do feel like I have alot more control over the weight and the "mind/muscle" connection is easier to make. This makes it easier for me to target a specific muscle and take it to failure.

    My diet is going well. I have kept if very clean following the outline I have been using from the beginning of the journal. I havnt really changed the quantity of food, just the way I prepare it. Im still eating the same amount, in quantity, of food that I had orginally designed the diet for, Im just preparing it different to keep from getting burnt out from eating the same ole things ( for instance for my first meal I will make breakfast borritos instead of just eggs and toast etc.)

    Now as far as the mental aspect, I have noticed a small amount of growth, especially in my shoulders, because I have been working them very hard. This growth has helped to elevate my self esteem, as anybodies would in this situation. I havnt had any of the bad sides this week except acne. I have experienced, as I mentioned earlier, lethargy, test. flu, and sorness from injections. The goods sides, though, are starting to shine, because my sex drive is increasing ever so steadly and my dream, as I said in the last update, are becoming more and more vivid. This is only the end of the fifth week of deca and fourth week of test, so its still early in the game. Now that I have experienced some of the "bad" sides Im amped to see and experience some of the good.

    I have a week five pic and I can noticable tell a difference in my shoulders. Tell me what you guys think:

I experienced "the HADR pump" today in bi/tri workout as well... its that I know I can do more.. but then my arms already cant move and im feeling great already!!

    Big thanks for the comments, it helps. I have been working very hard lately. It almost seems like I have been working harder as the weeks go on, but I think its the "gear" giving me that leeway. Man, school is starting to consume all of my time, but thats how all semesters are. Im trying to stay focused on my workouts and my diet and not cheat by partying etc. I feel its very hard at times, but I know I will reap the benefits in the end. Work, social life, and school can consume a young mans life, believe me. I have alot of obligations all of the time, but anybody in this world does also. Its good to see you online though, good luck w/ the upcoming contests. Oh and Im up to 201.5lbs, maybe Ill equal you one day, oak..

    Week 6 update:

    Well, my fellow weightlifters, week 6 has come to a close. This has been an eventful week to say the least. I got excepted into my college (not university, but individual college (college of health and human performance btw)). This has been the accomplishment I have been trying to achieve since my endeavours started here at UF. It has been along time, to me, with alot of built up stress and obligations which had to be fullfilled. My goals were accomplished and my gratitude towards this elevates me to a level of complete satisfaction. Though on a bad note, the women of this world have been leaving my head in total kaos. It seems as if there is more drama then ever before w/ my ex, yes I said my EX. We try to work things out, but I get caught up in the magnitude of what happened causing us to break up. It seems like everytime I have a good moment with her, all of the bad/disrespectful bullcrap that she did, which caused us to go our seperate ways, comes flooding back in my mind, only to haunt me and beat my brain up to the highest degree. I dont think the cycle helps with this entity though. I do feel that the steroids are helping me to concentrate a hell of alot more, but they also allow me to concentrate on the bad, as well as the good. It does cause me to beat myself up alot more, and I think the gear is making me a little shorter with my actions and decisions.

    My diet did steer off a little this week (wed., thurs., and fri.). This fact bothers me also, I feel that this is an obligation that one man makes and that he should derive the greatest benefits from it. One cannot achieve this, though, if he dosnt have the proper food intake. I can honestly say that my diet was crappy on these days, because I was so busy with school stuff and my prep. for the entry into my college spring semester. I had to obtain final transcripts, immunization records, apply for my AA degree, and fill out paper work for orientation. This limited my amount of time to consume food, because I was at the college all day.

    On a better note though, my workouts were great, and I didnt miss one. Actually, I worked out on sat. because I felt I had the energy to and I would overtrain. That was 6 workouts in one week, including legs twice. I feel like Im getting a little stronger, but being in the sixth week of deca and the fifth week of test. I should notice more intense strength gains. I dont feel like Im achieving what I should during my workouts.

    Im in a matrix of having no side effects right now. I have a little acne and thats about it. I do notice a little bit more intense pumps, but thats about it. Im not holding any water, as far as bloat. My sex drive is up a little as I mentioned in last weeks update and my dreams are still a little bit more vivid then normal. I dont have any huge sides which stand out, good or bad. I dont know if Im not going at it right or if there is something Im missing. I changed my workouts this week also, because Im half way through, so for the latter part I wanted to do something different to get optimal growth. It could be the fact that Im only in my fifth week of test. and the sides Im looking for will come from it. My weight is also back down to 198 from 201 last week. I could be water retention, because it fluctuates constantly between the two. I might need to give it more time, like this week coming up or the following.

    Nice update. Congrats on your acceptance! I understand exactly what you meant by getting into the college...I went through that at the Terry College of Business (at UGA)...extremely difficult to get into. Then, I got out of it.
    (Holy shit, has anybody taken a look at all of the new smilies?)

    I expect that the stress from this past week has been a hinderance to your gains. Hopefully, all of that will drop off, and your gains will pick back up.

    Oh yeah, what brand test are you running?

    Week 7 update:

    Well my fellow weightlifters, week seven has come to a close. This leaves only four more weeks in the cycle. This has been the week were I have noticed the most changes, well atleast bodily wise. I have had an increased amount of acne and my balls are nearly flat, like pancakes, no lie. I also got sick early this week which is a rarity for me because I never get sick. Im almost 100 percent sure its test. flu, like in the beginning of the cycle. I had a great week of working out with the exception of thurs. because of thanksgiving and my diet was in check all week, except on friday, because I had to drive back from my parents only to work friday night, limiting my amount of time to eat. I can honestly say, though, that my diet was greatly in check, as I consumed nearly 7 large meals from 10 am to 10 pm composed mostly of chicken, turkey, ham, potatoes, and pistachio pudding

    My sex drive seems normal now or maybe Im just getting used to the increased drive I have had since the beginning of the cycle. I think my libido increased around week 4 and hasnt increased or decreased since. I dont know for sure if it ever increased over what it was pre-cycle because I have always had a very large sex drive. But, like I said in week 4, I do get hardons alot easier. Psychologically I am still the same, I dont have any amount of increased anger. I do have an increase in my concentration, as I mentioned before, but thats it.

    My strength has gone up a little with my max bench increasing about 10lbs (maxed out tonight at 285, started with 275 max). Yet, on the other end of the spectrum, I can bench 225 16 times, were I could only get it 10 in the beginning. Like I said in my last entry, I dont think this is anywere close to the increase I should have, especially at the end of week 7. Im not sure, if Im not doing things right or if thats just my bodys normal reaction to gear. My weight is up to 202lbs as of lastnight which does put me up almost 19lbs since the beginning of the cycle. I have been maintaining 200 plus pounds for nearly 3 weeks, with slight fluctuations.

    Im not going to take anymore "front relaxed" pics until the end of the cycle, but I do have a tri shot for this weeks update:

    Nice update T! If you are benching 225 for 16 reps, your max is only a mental problem. I promise you! I am on the wrong computer, so I don't have the link, but I would expect that to translate into a 315 max...maybe more. Keep grindin'.

    Hey Talon side pic looks great bro....looks like chest is poping out...bro your max on your BP will go up.....it does sound mental though......225 for 16 is good...you should be in the 310-320 range with the 1RM......personally I don't max, around 3 reps is as close as I get to a max....it is def a mental thing with me....keep up the great work it is def showing.....good job on keepin the diet clean over the holiday....wish I could say the same about mine.

    Week 8 update:
    Well ladies and gentlemen sorry about not getting this up over the weekend, but I do have an excuse. I had a great week, as far as working out and my diets, but this weekend I did slip a little. I drank w/ friends on Sat. and Sun. night. I decided to go out of town this weekend to get away and just relieve myself of the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Though, its never a good idea to let drinking be a part of a workout program especially this endeavour, I needed to get away and relax this weekend. I can say, so far, I had the best workouts of my cycle yesterday and today (Mon.). I had great pumps, alot stronger then normal, and my strength and endurance felt almost superhuman. My diet never veared this week, except on Friday, I missed a meal, because I was traveling out of town.

    Im really sure this isnt the echleon I should be on at this point in my cycle and that I could have acheived more. It could be the fact that Im a late bloomer and the test. is just starting to work now, cause like I said, I have had insane pumps these last few workouts. Im excited to see what I can acheive in the last three upcoming weeks of my cycle. I hope I can gain alot more and atleast reach 210lbs with my body weight. I can say that Im up one more pound holding at 203lbs and my bodyfat is standing at 9.2% which is the same as when I started!

    Well ladies and gentlemen the cycle has come to a close. I finished x-mas day and I start pct tomorrow (Friday the 9th). I learned alot over the course of the cycle about what my body responds to as far as weight lifting and mass gaining. My final weight as of Friday the 26th was 206. My overall weight gain was 23lbs, going from 183 to 206. I dont feel I got the full effects of my cycle, as my strength gains were nothing impressing and my weight gain wasnt a HUGE jump. My bodyfat did increase from 9.2% to 14%. I had already estimated the increase from the beginning of the cycle, as this is normal with any "bulking" cycle. Now Im going to start pct and I hope I dont endure any of the dreaded pct sides like extreme loss of libido, especially from the deca . I have felt any loss in sex drive yet, but it remains to be seen. Im going to lower the calories to around 3,500 from 4,000 and see if I can maintain w/ this, if not I will increae accoridngly. After a month or so I will begin a cutting diet to ready myself for spring break.
