Flexor, test doesnt do wonders to you .. infact it does nothing for some people .. its just the diet and the training .. and if your body works well with the test then yes it will give u better gains .

Why i asked is because it's a common mistake.. and it robs most trainers of lat-development. (tho it gives way to great trap development)
Here's a posing tip (i know you didn't request one)... try to consciously relax your shoulder girdle when posing... when you've accomplished this, try to roll your shoulders foward without tensing your scapulae.
This technique is a lil hard to learn at first as it isn't exactly 'natural'. In a addition i use it while training... on chins; pulldowns; and rows... it's basically a conscious effort to 'flare' one's lats..thus getting: 1. the full range of motion; 2. full control over your muscles (by establishing the mind-muscle link through conscious contraction and stretching)

couldent have put it better .. i always hear lots of people complain about not getin good lats .. i always do that flaring thing yur talkin about when i do pulldowns or pull ups

Not much but i'll join. I love training back but i'm recovering from a herniated disc about 3 months ago. Can't do any deadlifts, row's etc... Just chins and lat pulldowns. see attachment

Am I too late? Took these 2 pics 5 minutes ago just for your thread Nark. Keep in mind this is me bulking at 207 8%. When I get down to about 5% then you can really see the definition.

my wide ass, just started doing heavy back and deads.
Just really started going heavy on every thing. I can do at least 7 good pullups wide grip unassited. At 260 that ain't so bad. I would imagine. Working on doing a straight ten. good form and wide overhand is the the path.
I have a crappy camera too. Colorado the sun is always awkard too. I would take some picts out side. But its too bright today.
