Oh, and nyjets... you will still be able to eat a ton in bootcamp! I went into Navy bootcamp in august of 2000 wei***ng 172lbs at 6'. I was incredibly focused on cardio and had some incredible upper-body strength.(for tossing around my own body weight)
Basically the physical exercise of bootcamp was a joke to me (which is awesome because some of the sloppy asses there struggled sooooooooooooooooo much!) but I actually used a lot of the crap I read in Men's Health. Lots of pushups, pullups, and 8 counts on top of the stuff I had to do with my division and I didn't lose over 3lbs when I was there. I was able to eat 3 very big meals throughout the day so when you hit up the mess hall just grab everything you can and it should still amount to a really good amount of calories.
The only thing that killed me in bootcamp was getting 4-6 hours of sleep a night. I ended up developing a stress fracture in my right foot probably due to the slow pace of "group" runs and lack of rest. I've heard they changed bootcamp a lot now so most recruits get 6-8 hours of sleep so you should be ok. I got sick as **** too from all the vaccinations they give you but your immune system is like made of titanium after all that crap. I didn't get sick for like 3 years.
GL bro and in your physical shape... bootcamp will be a breeze.

They rush you... when I was in bootcamp your division formation was done based off of height. The tallest people were in the front and thus ended up at the front of the chow line (not sure if they do this on purpose) giving you more time to eat. The clock to eat, 10 minutes, started when the last person sat down. So the tall people got like almost 20 minutes to eat.
The galley food at Navy recruit training wasn't bad in my opinion. I always felt starved to death by the time I ate but I always was full after a meal.
Different branches of the military but I'm pretty sure they'll give you more than 3 minutes... that is just crazy.
