I was 330 pounds before I started slowly dieting down and really focusing on my weight. I hardly ever was in pictures, esp when I went over 300, because I simply could not stand seeing how fat I was when I saw myself in them. I wish I had taken some good "before" pics. I am down to 255 atm with very very little strength loss. I will post some pics eventually and try to track down some of my fat pics.
I will be starting my cycle very soon. When I drop another 10-15 pounds. Looking to cut weight harder mainly while maintaining my strength. 75 pounds lost so far, my goal is to be as strong as I can be at around 210 (I am 5'10). I am more of a powerlifting mindset vs bodybuilding. At 37 years old and with a thyroid condition, loosing weight is a HUGE undertaking. I eat 2400 calories a day and do cardio 5-6 days a week along with lifting. Even at that rate i only loose about .5 pounds a week MAX. Very frustrating at times but I refuse to quit now.
Congrats on your weight loss also btw, looking very good.Last edited by Sherman01; 01-04-2009 at 07:34 PM.

Seriously LOL, While you reading this thread.
Im lowering my starches and eating alot more greens but its tough to get the Carbs i need because greens are so low in carbs, Do you have any opinions.
Also my sciatic is giving me trouble so i have been toning everything down including running which was part of my 2x a day cardio now im just mostly walking at an Incline for PWO cardio

When I diet sweet potatoes make up nearly all my starchy carb calories. I weigh them and cook them days in advance. As far the the sciatic, good luck man, had a discectomy a while ago for the same issue. Running definately aggravates it.

Im using oats for my carbs, I pre-make the Sweet taters as well when i have them.
Do you think it would be ok to have straches in the later hours of the evening or stick with veggies at thoes times???

I was 263 lb. when I graduated High school. I got down to 185 when i turned 21 (the year of my life) Now Im back up to 220 and not the ripped body building big, but the more flabby and unpleasant big. I need to know what if anything you can do to get rid of loose skin other than surgery. Also does anyone know if you can do anything about gynecomastia other than surgery. Im going to see a surgeon soon about having the surgery. Im sure he will give me some advice but have any of you done anything that works?
