    Monday I did a regular volume training session for chest/pecs.
    I had no energy to do HIIT after being food poisoned two days earlier and not being able to eat the day before. But after the session everything seemed allright again. So I'm back.

    Ok, I'm still working on my battle plan here,
    I got 12 weeks.

    Plan is to use the first weeks to gain some more mass.
    Then switch to a cut.
    I don't add on that much BF during bulking anyways,
    so it shouldn't be a problem.

    What is a problem is that I had started a blast before this comp,
    And is nearly mid ways through it.
    I've had a cold during the blast and as always when sick i stop all compounds,
    so with some "creative thinking" one could say didn't blast for one of the weeks, hehe.

    Anyway, during the cut I won't really need much AAS and not in the same way.
    And it's not like I do megadoses now either.

    My bloodwork from last week showed me liver and kidney values that would have been fine off cycle, not to mention on.
    And my BP measured at the clinic was 130/70.

    So no red flags as of yet.

    Since I got some DBOL lying around, I could perhaps take advantage of that fact and get some bulking done.

    So far I'm on tren (both e and ace), and test (but have lowered the test dose very much).
    (I'm below 500mg Tren a week, and below 500mg test also)
    Also used some slin. Have some somatropin I was gonna use in the blast but never added it in yet.

    I'll do some calculations and try to tweak this.

    BF : ??? (Somebody said 12'ish, idk)
    Height: 1,70m
    Weight: 87kg

    Want to reach 90kg, and perhaps cut to 85, and one day reach a cut 90,
    But I've been 90 before and that starts to feel heavy. But im more prepared for it now I think.

    By feel heavy I mean that at my weight I'm actually a fast sprinter,
    (Just don't ask me to do it over any distance, lol),
    when I was over 90 I felt like I was worse at sprinting.
    But I'm thinking I've reached a better muscle maturity now and it will be fine.

    Took 30mg DBOL pre workout today.
    I'm thinking I'll stay on DBOL for 2 weeks to add some mass since I've cut down my test intake.
    (I just notice far fewer sides from the tren if I drop the test to nearly TRT)
    I'll see how it goes and how I tweak it.

    Hehe, I've raised them 20mg allready GB;
    and continued with it as well.
    As I do low test right now I'm finding that the sides of both tren and DBOL is diminished, so 50mg feels like 20mg in sides so to speak.

    BTW, you're a J. Cash fan?
    (Or aren't we all though? I love that song)

    Wednesday;
    No resistance training today.
    Did 2hours of HEMA/Western Martial Arts though,
    those "feathers" they use for long sword does get kinda heavy when you've been handling them for a while. It was fun though.

    Today it's back to the gym later.

    Should have known, most of Cash is his cover of another's song,
    but to me, Heart of Gold f.ex, isn't Neil Young, its Cash. (Even though Neil did it good).

    Hurt is a helluva song, and when Cash sings it, you know he understands it as well. Think he's all to familiar with "the needle tears a hole" shit.
    One of my best friends I knew from little to adult had that song as one of his favorites, and that needle killed him, was my neighbor too and I guided the police in when they retrieved the body, so I'm a bit sentimental about it too.

    But he was a fun guy in all the tragedy, his awful parents (yes they truly were by any standard) at least had his motto carved into the gravestone, not really understanding what it meant,
    and it still gives me a laugh when I see it.
    (It's kinda of an inside joke)

    So it's not all grim and black.

    I'll be, that sounds like fun.

    Remember when I trained Kendo and we had a visit from a real expert.
    What impressed me the most was when he said "you don't need to be fast if your timing (technique) is correct", and proceeds to demonstrate a counter against an opponent.
    It looked like he was moving in slow motion while the attacked charged at full speed, but just when the strike would have hit his head his sword was just arrived to parry in that exact second, and it then moved on to hit the attackers neck in just the right second too.
    It was just stunning to watch.

    I wouldn't like to fight that gray haired old man with a sharp edge!

    Timing and technique are everything. One isn't effective without the other. One minute im standing with a knife in my hand. 2 seconds later I'm disarmed. My lung and groin have been punctured and my throats is cut.

    Totally agree, that video was powerful stuff too.
    I'll share his motto some other time, not on the open forum.
    It's nothing special really.
    And while it's sad he's gone, he was ready for it I think.
    More of a loss for the ones left behind, cause even though he lived a hard life he never cheated nobody, you could always trust him, hell, you could have left your wallet, credit card and pin code with him during his worst days and it wouldn't have mattered. He got that type of integrity.
    Even when a junkie, he had the mindset "death before dishonor"

    Really like his mindset too.
    Seen some videos of him before.
    Very calm and friendly dude,
    reminds me of other very skilled people I've met or seen.
    Very few skilled people are assholes.

    There are some exceptions in street fighting though,
    but they ain't THAT skilled, and they're only good at that one thing and define their whole life on that. Like being though is the only thing that matters.

    Reminds me of a funny story,
    this one pretty skilled and well known street fighter (and cage fighter, etc)
    which I worked with on few occasions as a bouncer. (He was the "back up" of sorts, the owners just hired him to scare of the gangs, but he was just a fucking nuisance, like when I had floored a guy and he came rushing out just to see the fight was over, well he couldn't let it go without participating, so he leaned over the guy I had floored and punched him in the face once, just because like)

    Anyways, he got into an argument with a guy much less skilled than him,
    So the guy just kicked his nuts and ran like hell!
    It was funny as fuck!

    Yeah. The guy running his mouth telling you how bad he is usually isn't. Small quiet guys are the ones you have to worry about.

    Lots of different clubs, varying degrees of realism.
    Unlike Kenjutsu there ain't a living tradition, but just historical works to go on.

    But you'll find stuff that works, and it's impressive when you see skilled fighters who's used common sense.

    This one shows some types of attack that aren't used in Kenjutsu but fit well with the long swords capabilities;

    You have to remember that these styles are often used for fighting in armor,
    so the attacks will often concentrate on cuts that still allow you to keep the center and finish with a thrust.

    What's cool about this sort of training though is that the feather (training sword) weighs and handles much like an actual long sword. So whatever technique you find that works, will work.

    Unlike Kendo, which Is what I've trained mostly, and the advanced attacks are impossible to do with a real katana.

    I agree. Cash was very close to death and he knew it. His final album was filled with songs like he was seeing beyond this world. His final interview is on youtube. He calmly explains "I will be dead very soon".
    He was ready to go. Hope I can be the same way at my time.

    Unlike Kenjutsu there ain't a living tradition, but just historical works to go on.

    But you'll find stuff that works, and it's impressive when you see skilled fighters who's used common sense.

    This one shows some types of attack that aren't used in Kenjutsu but fit well with the long swords capabilities;

    That's a great photo!

    Hello all!

    Tired as fuck today.
    Was gonna train legs but don't have time, have to go to a concert with the GF tonight, and just to be able to do that i had to load up on aspirin for my headache and general wrecked feeling, a muscle relaxer to calm down a bit,
    (I've sweated thru 4 shirts today allready, it's been a short shower of rain and hailstones too, but not enough rain to cool me down),
    some stims to avoid falling asleep or just stare blankly into nowhere;
    and then some other shit.
    Feel like a walking talking pharmacy! Lol!

    But I feel sorta fine now, gonna have some fun, (but not go overboard or anything), just have some fun and see a band I really know nothing about;
    "The Suicide Bombers" I think they're called.
    Hope they're ok. But I'm not going for the music tonight but to meet friends of my GF and such.

    Next weekend I might find something for myself, don't know yet.
    Don't won't to fuck up training either, but I'm good at partying smart and not drinking.

    Have a nice weekend all!
