Unbeleivable (I was very saddened by this)
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060918/...preemie_deaths
My son, who is thirteen months right now and is a very healthy 25 pounds) was a preemie and was in the hospital (nicu) for a month and fought like a soldier to be where is now! I was so mad and angry for what this stupid ass nurse did. These babies fight so hard for theire lives and then this stupid idiot nurse gives them an adult dose of blood thinner and they are dead!

As a father of three, I couldn't imagine the pain this has caused, both to the families, and those nurses involved. but after reading the article it does sound like an accident. As terrible, and painful as it is.

Congratulations on your 3 kids! I also have another one on the way, shooting for a girl this time, and now I am so scared if my gets pre-eclampysia agian will have another preemie and something like this could happen again.

I lost my daughter to cancer when she was three and a half years old. We were in and out of hospitals for 16 months, and I can assure you this nurse was negligent in the extreme. They are supposed to cross check with other nurses all the time to make sure mistakes like this dont happen.

I also believe she had to pretty f-ing incompetent to make this mistake because I pretty much slept at the hospital every day for a month and our nurses were meticulous in every thing they did!
