terrible story. i think in my view that the prison system in america is not helping much.
it should be setting examples to other countries since the U.S is leading or at least claiming that it protects human rights.
just because they are criminals doesn't mean that they should be treated inhumanly.

What are you talking about, he killed his son and 13 month old daugher and ripped their hearts out. He should have been strung up the next day. Human rights my ass...

And another thing, in about 90+ percent of the countries out there. If he did this he would have been killed within days of his crime. Shit Like this only happens in America.

i think you either misunderstood my point or i wasn't clear enough.
i am well awrare of what he did, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't treat our prisoners fairly as humans, and other countries who misstreat their prisoners should not set any examples for us.
iam not saying that he should be forgived. in matter of fact, if i was the judge i will have him executed right the way. why wait for the court proceedings if his guilty.

The American justice system may have its flaws (like any other country), but one thing that is awesome about it is that they honor due process. In general, every man gets a chance at a fair trial.

In regards to this particular case, I don't think he should be executed necessarily. Rather, he should have a psychiatric evaluation done to determine his competence in the eyes of the law...although in my eyes, any man who eats his own eye just got a free pass. It's obvious that he has a free screws loose, and I do not think it would be proper to execute a person who is insane.

I guess I'm probably the world's biggest a-hole for posting this but so be it. I believe he should have been executed immediately upon being proven guilty. I honestly believe his Maker would have would know of his mental illness and dealt with him accordingly based on that illness.

to be honest this story happens probably at least once a day in the prison system.. there are so really really messed up people.

i have seen people cut their wrist so they can paint their cells... seen guys cut themselfs open so they could hide their own sh*t in them.. people eat their own crap.. some when they find out there is a open bed in medical see who can cut their wrist first to get stay in a medical bed..

not trading war stories or anything.. i'm just saying this happens alot more than people could ever imagine

We could go one step better. A number of studies have shown that children that have been abused have a high risk of becoming the abuser. So when a child is abused why dont we just execute them, it will save time and money..
