Long Term use of Gear??
I am interesting in some feedback on this. Any of the senior members or anybody who knows someone who has used gear for long periods of time and maintain relatively good health.
Obviously using sensibly. You get my drift.
I'm talking about somebody possibly in the 40's or 50's. Maybe or maybe not heavy users. Even your "testosterone replacement " folks. I've done research (internet browsing, mind you) on mainly testosterone and get a lot of positive press about the benifits (screw the negative hype).
But who are some of the oldest cats you might know of who is using gear?
Can I get a witness??

My best freind is 50 years old. He used juice for about 25 years. The first 10 years were on and off, and now he's been on steady for the past 12 or 15 yrs or so. He runs alot of gear too, especially GH and primobolan , and he is the healthiest and most athletic looking 50 yr old guy i know. He is about 255 right now at 7-8% bf, has girls half his age wanting to **** his brains out, and feels great!!! He goes to the Dr, chiropractor, and massge therapist on a regular basis. They cannot believe he's in that kind of shape for his age.

HRT is realatively new...
it goes to quality of life... do you really want to live to 75... when the last 25 yrs you were weak and sick??
no one does.. but you don't want to cut 25 yrs off your life either..
it's a balancing act.. one that we all strive for.. as we get older..
me...46... HGH and peptides are the real fountain of youth.. but long term studies?? no.. sorry..The answer to your every question

Great. I'm happy to hear my little thread is getting some love. I'm 38 and I'm doing a cycle of test c and anti estrogens and I feel great. My next cycle I"m gonna blend it with Deca however. I've been working out for about 12 years and did a cycle once about 5 years ago and that's why I raised the question about long term use because I think that if you do it right you can do it for a long time.
But..........
Since I got the attention of my vets. Are any of you guys having any success with insurance claims??? Talk to me!!!
I"m with Oasis (first time a couple weeks ago) and the doctor and the pharmisist are under my insurance carrier but I cant make the connection through them.
My question is this...........any advice or hints as to what I can to do seek out a "friendly" doctor.
I may not get a response on this because it could be considered me asking for a source.

Are you saying the doctor and pharmacy that they use for the clinic is listed under your insurance?

Yes, but the thing is that with them and with other anti aging places is that they act as the middle man for a prescribing physician and pharmacy, which I have not problem with. I"m sure there's a mark up but it's cool.
The thing is that I cant seem to get from them original reciepts in order to claim a reimbursement from my insurance. Been getting the run-around.
In a perfect situation, I could submit my bloodwork, see the doctor, get a script show my insurance card...................you know what I mean??
I dont want to wreck a good thing because these folks provide a good service but I wish they were more forthcoming in terms of the insurance question especially with the doctor and the pharmacy being a carrier.

Long term use....
You guys are all so old, 50, 51, etc. Wish I was 50. Again! I can almost remember when I was that old. Hey, now I remember, Ronnie Reagan was in his first term. I think Michael was still black. Maybe they should have a forum for guys who are ancient, i.e. guys like me. Oh well,
Cheers anyway,Last edited by Mobligator; 08-03-2006 at 10:13 PM. Reason: attach pic

Oh well, I will just keep trying. So are you saying that despite the fact that you have a script, you are still apprehensive?

kind a like that...i guess because of all the controversy behind steroids , I even felt weird when i picked up my first bottle of test cyp from my local grocery store(this was prescibed by my regular endo)...i haven't read any threads here about anyone getting insurance to pick up the tab for oasis...and with my copays going up, i'm not even going to use my insurance/local docs anymore...it's not worth the trouble to me...and these docs are always concerned about insurance companies ahead of the patient

I've had pharmacists question me a couple times on pills and I came back with the fact that they usualy didn't carry them in stock and I didn't want to run out. One time a pharmacist gave me some sh-t about something, I believe the Rx said to take as needed ?? and I told him to just fill the damm thing or call my doctor, that he wasdn't nothing but "a pill counter" and it wasn't his job to question my Docs Rx.

Great thread. I'm 34 and am using an HRT company with goos success so far. 1st cycle, week 4. I'd like to see where this all brings me for a few years any way and possible continue if I'm healthy and willing. But I'd like to pose another question, we are getting good feed back and responses that are postive. I dont mean to hijack the thread, but is there anyone who has had problems with long term use?

I have been on TRT for two years running now at 200 mgs of Test Cyp weekly and I have never felt better. I will be moving to an HRT soon with some HGH. I have only tossed in a few orals of my own to assist for some occasional workout breakthroughs or BF% assistance.
Juice moderately, eat well constantly, workout madly and there is no reason you cant look and feel like a 20 year old for life....or at least 30....LOL

I am making slow gains now in that my diet is really in check and I do toss in some Tbol, Dbol or Deca as occasional cycles that take me to a new level and thenn I sustain.
I do not gain like someone doing full out cycles but I do gain slow and sustain very well. The beauty is not having to PCT nearly to the extent others would. I use L-Dex for estrogen but not anything really beyond that. When I do add cycles I stick to one oral at low doses and short times (6 to 8 weeks). When I do Deca (which has only been once) I did 200mgs weekly and bumped my test to 400 during the 10 week cycle to avoid any issues. No problems.
I am down to around 12% BF and 220. Feel great at almost 40.
I used to be 275 and 32% BF at 37 almost 38. I will never be there again and I will say that diet was 80% of it.
