    Looking for opinions

Well without making this too lengthy I will try to cut to the chase with my question. I am 45 almost 46. I have had my blood work done 3 times in the last 6 months one being 189 with a free T of 24. The second one was 304 and the last one was 495. I have lost weight going from 260 pounds to today being 179 it has taken a year to get here.

My question is there is a Low T center here in town that wants to treat me with 200mg of Test cyp every ten days. They want to get my level between 800 and 900 they say if you go above 1000 on any test they won't give you a shot for another ten days but it never happens because they test on the tenth day before your shot. Since the half life of Test Cyp is 8 days according to them I am worried about the roller coaster affect. They told me they might give me the shot on the 9th day if I am feeling really bad but if my tenth day falls on a Sunday I would have to wait until Monday for my next shot.

They don't do any prevention for gyno because they say at the level they put you at it's not an issue.

I forgot to add they also mix Vitamin B in with your injection the cost is 149 bucks a month for three injections. I am sure I will feel much better so I guess its the muscle gain and the roller coaster affect that I am trying to figure out now

So I guess my questions are does this sound like a pretty good deal they are not very expensive they do constant blood work to monitor you. Do you think they are right about not doing anything to prevent gyno? And last can I make gains in the gym on this treatment? I really want the bonus of muscle mass and I told them this I was honest with them. He said I should see some gains but they don't treat you for that goal but I should get gains. So what do you think I can reasonably expect in gains if my diet and lifting is really good?

Oh Yea all your blood work tests are included in the price of the treatment so it's not an additional charge.

Yes, you should not get gyno from that. They are simply bringing your level of T to what it should be. You can make gains from that considering what you have done in the past without it.

However you would obviously make better gains with more. Nobody can predict what will happen with that amount and your bodies reaction, just try it. After your gains stagnate and if you do want more then simply supplement what their giving you with additional test.

At the level they are saying you will make gains as you would have when you were 20-25 years old. From the sound of it I think you will not have to worry about gyno. that being said they are wrong but not in your case. If you had went to them last year when you were 260lbs Yes you would need to worry about gyno.
At that price I say go for it. it is legal and it is better than having to go to the black market like I do. You will not have to worry about looking over your shoulder.
as far as The rolor coster you any time you go to un-natural test you are going to have unstable levels. Test cyp is going to be your best bet at ten days apart.
They were also wrong about the half life. The active life is 15-16 days. the half life is much longer read this link http://forums.steroid.com/showthread...rone-Cypionate
in short dont worry and I say go for it.

I am currently on a HRT program finally.I am actually paying less than that which includes HCG for the boys and an AI.I split my shots up at 100mg 2x a week as suggested .And am on 500 iu of HCG.My bloodwork for follow ups is on me which is cheap.Just a suggestion to check out a couple of clinics online if money is a factor.

just noticed this is 5 month old thread
