Healthy Tarter Sauce
I've been messing around with sauces for fish lately. I usually eat grilled cajun rubbed tilapia on a high fiber/low carb whole grain wrap, but it needed some sauce and more flavor.
I've come up with a variation of a tarter sauce which is decent if used sparingly.
> 4tbsp hellman's mayo (if you want to use light, go for it. I can't stand the stuff)
>2tbsp fat free sour cream
> juice of 1 lemon
> 1tsp white vinegar
> 1 dill pickle, small diced (in lieu of the usual sugary relish)
> 6 'pieces' sweet/hot peppers mix, small diced (they come in a jar, should be in the condiments aisle - I use 3 slivers of the red peppers and 3 of the green)
Combine ingredients and adjust to taste. Enjoy!!!Last edited by gbrice75; 08-31-2011 at 06:58 PM.

I made something like this for my crab last night -- Almost exactly the same except I used horseradish sauce instead of sour cream all in all it was very good
