What's the bets protein shake for leaning out?
I've been using Muscle Milk 1-2/day and I've been holding a lot of water and staying at the same weight. I'm 6'1" 200lbs and eating about 2200-2400 calories a day. I'm not trying to cut for competitive reasons, just lose some of the lovehandles, maybe 8-10lbs of fat, which would put me at about 17% BF.
I like the results I got from GNC Amplified Wheybolic stuff, but it doesn't taste as good as MM. Suggestions? (yes, I know, eat less)

Muscle Milk is garbage dude. Try Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey...or food.

Another vote of ON Whey. Its great. Muscle Milk has a lot of fat and other garbage in it.
However i'd suggest checking out the diet forum as well.

Some of the powders that people take in are extremely high in cholesterol,so make sure you take that into consideration. Muscle milk also has a bit of fat also. I use Ultimate muscle protein from Beverly International. Taste wonderful, profile is outstanding, and mixes very well.

Optimum Nutrition is ALWAYS a good choice. The lower calorie and most complete protein i've come across recently is EvoPro. it's definitely good stuff. I like that it has casein and whey protein and it's got 26 grams of protein per scoop. It tastes really good and has less than 1 gram of sugar.

Because I hadn't until today.
I kinda figured changing up my diet alone to eliminate the junk(chips, fries, ice cream, etc) and stopping eating the SuperBurritos everyday for lunch would do the trick!!!! Just kidding...kind of... I loves me some superburrito.
But yes, I need more dietary education, but I'd already made significant changes to lots of protein and raw veggies. Looking at shakes because I travel a lot and packing/prepping meals and snacks everyday is just not practical.Last edited by golarge; 11-11-2009 at 08:46 PM.
