    supplements for nursing wife??

    my wife is breast feeding our baby but she wanted to start working out and taking some supplemets are there any that is safe? she also wants a meal replacement shake that she can take in the am because it is very hectic for her with the kids.

    fish oil caps if she can take it..

    my wife ran them from week 12 through birth and 5 months of breast feeding... my son is almost 3 yrs old.. he's been advanced in all tests, physical and mental.. 1.5 days to potty train him, advanced vocabulary.. and he loves salmon and broccoli... but since we eat that 3x week it could be environmental influence.. either way we supplemented with fish oils long before it is not becoming more popular..

    He also has the dha/omega supplemented whole milk..

    On a side note, we did not allow him to be exposed to TV (mostly) before he was 2 yrs old..
