    30-40 mins on the bag a substitute for cardio?

    just wondering if i keep my heart rate around 70% of max while on the punching bag, can i use it as my cardio? does anyone do this?

    Thats what I do plus jump rope are my only cardio.

    Yes and I do this from time to time. It's a great workout and stress reliever.
