Arms and their profile
I've been working out for about 15 years now off and on. Something has always bothered me and I'm not sure if it's my routine or my body.
If I stand with arms down at my sides, my arms dont look very big when viewed from a profile.
If I lift my arms in a traditional upper arms outstretched and forearms above head and flex pose, they look great.
they are currently 17".
I normally do these exercises for bis once per week.
Any 3 of the following followed by standing curls on a cable machine. 8-15 reps until failure on 3rd or 4th set. 3-4 sets depending on how motivated I am.
Standing alternating curls with curl in
Seated concentrated hammer curls
Preacher bench with ezcurl bar or straight bar
standing straight bar on shrug rack
standing alternating hammer curls
I do triceps right after biceps on the same day. my triceps seem to be much larger than my bis.
Can anyone see anything that I'm doing wrong? I'll post pics if needed.
thanks!

in proportion to your arm your bi should be 1/3 the size of your tri pics?

ok, i just took some pics.
I'm 36 years old.
maybe i need to add some chemicals to my diet?

Your tris should be 3x the size of your bis. The tri is a much bigger muscle group.
Looking at your pics, Id say that your diet is off. You dont need chemicals, yet, but more like a cleaner diet. Once you shed some bf, you should be able to see your arms much better.

the diet section has a sticky in it called Cutting primer.. good place to start.. welcome to ar..The answer to your every question

ok. I can work on that. Sitting at a desk for 9 hours a day is getting the best of me. Also I can feel my body slowing down with age too. I dont drink alcohol and ate what I thought was fairly clean and lean, but maybe i need to step it up a bit.
thanks for the input.

I looked and searched for the cutting primer. closest i could find is
UNoffical "How to Cut" thread and sample diet...
"UNoffical "How to Cut" thread and sample diet.."
is that it?
Slightly off topic, I've been looking at getting some clen . I have a local friend that said he can get "IP Clen". Googling looks like IP clen was made by some guy and not sure if he's around any more. Any thoughts on that as opposed to the link at the top with the liquid stuff?
thanks again gang. I've been reading this board for years. I've only finally posted and feel welcomed already

Hey bro ... before you start with the clen ... get your diet straight man ... the how to cut sticky is what to start with, but look around the diet forum at other members diet and progress ... that will help you a little more .... especially with macros and stuff ... good luck bro.

I've heard good and bad stuff about IP. whats the deal?

Their credibility is shot from counterfeiting and the product itself sucks.

definatly bro!!! nice work. keep that up, by july you'll be looking real good. As far as IP goes. Iv used their stuff it works for me but it all depends on who you get it from. They have a bad rep on this board and afew others. if your still looking for clen look to link at the very top right of the page AR-R . good stuff there. when your diet is in check that will give you alittle boost. best of luck
