I personally feel chest is one muscle. Its genetical that some have good upper chest and some have good lower. You cant workout just the lower half of a muscle to make it llok good. Yeah lower your fat levels on your belly and your chest would look better!

for me personally - i agree. I always thought it was an ego lift since guys can do so much weight. Never felt it did a damn thing for my chest. Some guys here feel differently and strongly re: decline press - and some of them i respect their opinions. It just goes to show how we all respond differently.....

Cardio, cardio cardio,
BTW decline is probably the best chest exercise ever, according to EMG studies anyway.

i say all lifts are good in their own regards... none of them are some new technique.. all are proven and have been around for a while... decline has its place in some workout routines... I use them often with db's and bb's.
work chest hard and make it grow.... the line will come with size... if you can't wait for size then lean out to a low bf and something will show.

I always do declines first..........ya right, just kidding. Incline dumbells are my favorite and weighted dips are overlooked by many. I do them at least every other chest routine. Diet and cardio will tone up your lower chest the best.

EMG studies show that declines are best for hitting the bulk of the chest mass but I firmly believe that inclines and flat are better for some people. And some excel with flyes. Again, it all depends on your build. You must experiment to find what works best for you.

DIPS leaning forward...if you can have someone hold your feet back...i have my buddy hold my feet when i do these and i can really concentrate on contracting the chest.

i disagree, it just seems logical to hit all the parts on the chest
incline decline flat and flys .. the 4 different parts of the pectoral
- as for decline or dips, i do both but do dips on arms day for tricept decline on chest day
saying decline bench is pointless is basically saying it doesnt work any muscle at all , when its obvious its lower chest, there may be more effective means to work this muscle but decline gets the job done
