can of worms you could open with this question thats why the floodgates havent opened as there is thousands of members some with years of exp and awards under their belts that could write you dissertations on why cardio b4 and why cardio after.

so at the risk of starting a huge debate id ask firstly what are your stats goals time served and bf% ?

if your looking primarily to cut bodyfat, cardio works best for me b4 breakfast first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

First thing in the morning is my preference and when I get to where I am over 50 minutes a day I start a second session post workout.

Cardio: Up to 40-60min in the AM PLUS 30-40min post workout

    Just my opinion, works though.

I have tried all different ways myself. I do my cardio after my workouts and experience no problems. I am out of the gym within a hour and a half.

I think it has something to do with Glycogen levels (Could be wrong)
But I remember reading something that went into detail, like:

    - You lift, pretty much using up the energy you have (and glycogen)
    - Now that glycogen is depleted so much you do cardio
    - Therefore you start to burn more fat than you would otherwise

Cardio in the AM is along the same concept you've just got to watch the intensity/length
Maybe use BCAA's to stop any muscle loss that could occur (0 calories anyway)

I've tried both, with the same diet, and yielded the same results... I think the most important thing you should worry about is DOING cardio, not at what time... just my opinion.. I seem to have a lot more energy for cardio after lifting too, but that may have to do with me hating the morning
