    Question Cardio zone/Fat-burning zone.

Im a little confused as to how I should approach my cutting diet cardio workouts.... I do Am cardio on an empty stomach, and lift after work, Im just unsure about what I should keep my HR at to get maximum results for fat-loss. I take 1 serving of MRI'S Black powder before I do cardio for 45 mins, if that helps. The treadmills say for fatloss I should maintain a HR of 129??? Ive been doin this, and it just feels like its doing nothing..and im barely even sweating. is this correct?>? your thoughts and opinions please!!!!!!!!

60-65% of your max heart rate. 220 minus your age and 60-65% of that

Do a search in this forum for it and you will find enough opinions and reading to keep you busy for a week. This one seems to get tackled on a weekly basis.

The correct way is that you have to know your resting heart rate first.

    Can't do shit without that.

Take your heart rate as soon as you wake up for 3 days straight, then take the average.

Formula to use is as follows:

220 - age - resting heart rate X 60% + resting heart rate, will give you your low number for your target heart rate.

220 - age - resting heart rate X 65% + resting heart rate, will give you your high number for your target heart rate.

Keep your heart rate within high and low number for at least 45 mins each workout.

Good fat burning cardio workout. Your are not going to feel like you are working out hard enough. You should be able to hold a conversation.

It's not always about working up a sweat guys.

Aussie, thanks for that info. That is exactly wat I had been looking for, and after EXTENSIVE review of endless amounts of post on this forum and a few others, the only stuff I had gathered is people always asking"Whens the best time to do cardio??????" This hit the nail on the head. If I found the information I was looking for< I wouldnt post the question
