whats the best way to add mass to your chest without getting your arms bigger?

I feel my arms are way too big for pretty much the rest of my body. My other body parts aren't small, they're definitely respectable. But I want to get my chest bigger in proportion to my arms. Would focusing on the middle portion of the bench rep be good for this?

Maybe doing pre-exhaust. Do flys immediately followed by your pressing movements. Supposedly this takes tris or reduces the tris involvement in the exercise.

First off, there isn't anyway around it....You work chest you'll be working your triceps and shoulders along with it....Yes, a closer grip will help fill out your middle chest more.

What is your normal chest routine??

    Usually something like..
    3-4 sets incline dumbbells
3-4 sets flat barbell or decline barbell
    3-4 sets of dips/weighted dips
    3-4 sets of machine flies
3-4 sets of pec deck flies

    Try

Flat dumbbell press 4 sets, 8-10 reps
Incline dumbell press 4 sets, 8-10 reps
Decline bench or Decline Hammer strength machine 4 sets, 8-10 reps
Flys on cable or machine 4 sets, 8-10 reps

Finish with diamond push ups....2 sets to failure.

Yes, I was going to say that....But honestly like I said there is no way around it...Look at it as a positive. Most people are looking for a way to make a body part bigger...

Rather then worrying about not making a certain body part bigger you need to focus on making your other body parts bigger. It all comes down to training...

Post your weekly routine body split including sets and reps

Makes sense. I know a lot of people start chest workouts with incline stuff because that's where they are lacking its kindof the same concept
