Think about it, it really is a kick a** diet, at least for me........ I eat these huge bowls of Rice Chex, with skim milk or 2 percent, good source of protein in the milk, and mass amounts of carbs! And depending on whether your cutting or not, eat a large or smaller bowl. KFC, it's excellent, just the chicken strips at least, lean white chicken, loaded to the brim with protein, which I usually eat right after working out, pluse the bread coating is a great source for post workout carbs.......... it's a great diet, look at me, I mean I'm not suberb or anything but it obviously has a good effect. I eat no junk food....... and I forgot to mention the chow mein, it has chicken, rice, veggies, and tastes great! You can't go wrong..... I have been working out for 23 years, I have had a lot of time to get to where I have gotten. Dieting is not as complex as you think, not every diet works for the same people though....... I hope this post doesn't come off sounding completly strange, but I will swear by this diet.
As far as cardio goes, yes, to high of a heart rate for to long will cause muscle lose, but did you know a marathon runner doesn't start to lose muscle until they reach mile 21? I only did cardio 2 or 3 times a week, apparently I have some good genetics.
I believe you about your diet. Some people just cant understand how someone can get big without steroids or without eating 200 grams of protien a day. Genes play a big role. IMO

Alot of you guys make me laugh....
My diet is improving, but hasn't always been what it should have been.
    I'm 6'3" 280 lbs 20% bf or so.
    20 1/4" arms
    17 " forearms
    36" waist
    55" chest
    27" thighs
    21" calves
ever since I can d@mn near remember I've benched over 300 lbs, benching mid to high 400's now.
I can deadlift about 550 or so....whatever you,ve got the idea.
Here's a sample of what my diet has been for the last few years, and I wasn't trying to do much except not eat alot of junk food , and trying to eat a bit more protien.

Breakfast - bowl of grape nuts or raisin bran....maybe 2 bowls if I had time
mid morning - protein bar or something similar
lunch - taco bell...maybe subway, maybe pack a tuna sandwich or something
gym - 4 times a week or so , nothing fancy , just the basics, heavy...8 reps or so 4 or 5 sets per excercise, protien shake right after.amino acids in the morning and night.
dinner - whatever my wife cooked, followed by whatever she put on my plate to avoid washing down the drain, followed by some desert once in awhile.

I've never taken any juice, but am stockpiling atm for my first cycle to start sometime soon.
So here it is, heres the diet that has about 3 or 4 people a week asking how I got so big. Believe it or not, I could care less.
I decided to post this because it took about 5 minutes for someone to call bull$hit on this guys diet, I've no reason not to believe him, a similar, perhaps even worse diet works for me. In fact, I think I was better off before I started screwing with my diet, trying to do the "right" thing.
Something else I find amusing is, the last day or so I've been reading through the bigjon post..the 335 lb guy....and the end of that thread has alot of people commenting about being constructive, and courteous etc. and alot of the people preaching in that thread, seem to be the ones doing the most flaming here...heh

    Heh... see what I mean.
BDTR's diet is much better...as a matter of fact I think I read a post recently about your diet and how unconventional it is...but how it works for you.
Funny that you would be the one to comment first.

Mighty..i'll help you take your foot outta your mouth... Starter7777 was a fraud..who stole someone elses pics an dposted em here...THEN proceeded to fabricate a diet and training routine and posted em next to the pics.

If you learn nothign else on AR..learn this:

READ THE WHOLE THREAD BEFORE COMMENTING

Narkissos - I read the part about him being a fraud, and the link with him confessing it was all a joke etc.
When he first posted this there was no mention of him being a fraud, there were a few compliments, then a ton of people saying he was full of cr@p.
I could have picked a better thread to make my point, but my point still remains, all these people telling other people how to be constructive and supportive etc, need to do one of two things.
    1. Quit preaching
    - or -
    2. Quit being a prick
