that couldn't of happened on a military range, the RSO (range safety officer) would've had a heart attack & probably ended up losing it and kill the poor misguided troop.

The bottom line is that if the bullet doesn't hit anything important a person can still function.

did the round penetrate your armour? if it missed your armour, did it go through or stay in your body?
I use the word "incapacitate" a little liberally, a friend of mine sold drugs in Seattle once, one day after comming out of a nightclub, his "boss" was shot at by some banger with at .380 auto (a round smaller than the 9mm for those who dont know). the round hit him in the meat of the pectoral, luckily it didnt puncture his lung, he believes it was due to the distance from the shooter. However, he told me, that he at first, only felt the pinch of the bullet, after a moment he noticed he couldn't move any of his upper right half of the body - subsequently realizing he had been shot, he quickly began freaking out and began feeling the symptoms of shock. (he was rushed to hospital and the rest his menial)
This guy is a relatively normal person,
So when i say "incapacitate" i mean a normal human being, or undisciplined combatant, it has been well noted that seasoned soldiers, in a few extreme cases, will continue fighting even while critically & horrifically wounded (On Killing - Col. Dave Grossman)

The two rounds that hit me in the back, lodged in the armor. The first shot that hit me as I turned went in just above my belt buckle, just below the armor and worked it's way sideways and ended up just below my rib cage. The second shot came from the side and hit in the upper chest (the vest I had in 89 didn't have the neck guards like the current armor) In between the shot that went in my belly and the chest shot I fired a 3 round burst (actually my first 3 round burst and his last shot were probably fired at the same time) then after the chest shot I fell backwards in to a wall and fired two more 3 round bursts. Then it was over.

oh and by the way, i was not joking when i said i am self destructive. why the fu_k do you think i chose this avatar? to be funny? to be cute??? fu_k that. i chose it cause it accurately depicts my attitude toward my own life.. that is not a joke, dont think for a second that it is supposed to be cause its not

i was also not joking when i said that some fool would be doing me a favor by killing me. do you have any idea how many times i got so close to killing myself that i held my glock to my head? the ONLY thing that stopped me is not wanting to be remembered as the guy that shot himself. but if someone else were to do it for me, id go out like a fu_king soldier, not a nutcase.

No hard feelings dude.
If you genuinely feel the way you have decribed then I suggest you get some counselling and I would also suggest that until you're in a better state of mind you avoid steroid use completely as it will do nothing but detract from your stability.
Take care bro.

My fault, didn't add enough info, meant 1911 platform autos, they need to be adjusted and throated (smooth up feed ramp) to work right. You have the best one with your glock Glock is hands down the most reliable pistol made ( you should see the books I have showing them being dumped in acid, shot out of a cannon, etc. and still working.
