    It's not that cut an dry...

    There's no direct correlation...it's an inverse equation.

    The absence of carbs will sabotage muscle building/retention because the protein will be used for energy.

    To contradict this...one should keep carbs at a reasonable level.

    On non-workout days, you don't supply carbs to fuel training..but if you're doing cardio energy needs to come from somewhere right?

    It'll come from protein.

    That's why protein is higher on non-training days.

    Protein is cleaved and converted to glucose inefficiently... so you'll get a lot less energy from your protein foods. Cant remember the exact rate tho.

    yup, I remembered that. I knew I needed to increase my carbs, and bring my fat down. That nonworkout day isn't THAT different to mine now in a way. Carbs are 15g higher on your suggestion, fat is about 40-50g higher since I took out some and protein is probably 80g less I would say. Does the adding dietary fat provide extra benefit?

    just peace of mind

    You could up the pro to 1.5 gr per lb LBM

    and drop both the carbs and fat down to 0.3 grams per lb LBM...that's where i normally am.

    If you do..add a fiber supplement.

    I could do that, veggies are a pain. Fiber bcuz of low carb?
