thats a bad example. skin color has absolutely nothing to do with what a person is thinking or why they act a certain way. youre talking about external similarities.

Hey here's a turn in this theory.. what if the women r using the fact that they were raped, or even exxagerating it, in order to justify their sexual preference!

You are saying that lesbians are that way inclined due to psychological damage incurred at an early age, it is likely that whatever causes homosexuality in women is basically the same as the cause of homosexuality in men, Carlos is a gay man therefore your theory basically equates to saying that Carlos is psychologically damaged/flawed.
I realise you probably didn't mean that but that is the eventual conclusion to your theory.

ok il put it like this, not all lesbian woman were raped as children, but the majority of women that were raped as children turn lesbian cause of the damage that was done to them at such a fragile point in their life
like i said though, i have no idea why men turn gay so im not trying to claim that i know what the causes are. as far as carlos goes though, hes always been rude to me for absolutely no reason.

Men turn gay because they like the stick shift rather than the box
But they don't turn.. again it's preference
-

i dont think sexual preference is a good way of judging people, but i do think that if a girl is raped when shes young, it makes it more likely that shel turn lesbian or at least bi. even you thought it was odd that all 4 lesbian chicks i know were raped when they were younger

That is a very bold statement Trenbull, "every" woman that is a lesbian was raped/"every" woman that was raped is a lesbian?
Ridiculous statement.
Talk to a shrink and they will probably tell you that each individual that experiences trauma like this at a younger age will react differently. Some may turn to females for comfort and others would obviously react in a totally different way.Last edited by IBdmfkr; 04-19-2006 at 02:28 PM.

what i meant to say is that its common for women who were raped as children to turn lesbian

No my mistake, the ignorant judgement you passed was "the majority of women that were raped as children turn lesbian cause of the damage that was done to them at such a fragile point in their life"
That is just stupid.-B D

how so? its a common trend that i have seen. rape victims end up having serious emotional issues, and it can manifest itself by altering sexual preference. a chick that was raped by a man can subconsciously see all men as a threat, and they probably feel safe with women

Kindergarten. You know how kids give out cards and candy to their classmates? I bought a card and candy for all of the boys in my class and I had one special card and gift for one boy in my class who I liked. Didn't give any of the girls jack! I think that is a sign early on that I was gay. So I didn't turn gay at some life changing moment or a traumatic point in my life. When I think back I have always liked guys. I played house with other boys. I was the daddy, they were the mommy. I think I have always been a top.Muscle Asylum Project Athlete

Exactly, also you claim that women that are Bisexual who prefer woman fall in the same category. There are so many possibilities to narrow it down to one incident in a woman's life.

Have to disagree on this one. Im with Mizfit Life is what you make it. So much so that I think you choose who you are sexually attracted to. There is currently no valid research supporting the "I was born gay" mentality. Your choice. Period
