I'm cutting back on driving. I hate the ****ing gas prices!!!!
i think it is a scam to make their final trillions in the last days of fuel as we transition to alternative fuel souces.

If I'm going to go anywhere for a vacation trip, I'm flying.

My office is 50 miles round trip so for the past 3 weeks now I have worked from home and only going to the office once a week. I still drive a lot but taking that trip away is 250 miles a week that I don't have to drive.

I have a toyota yaris, 39 miles per gallon and I feel no shame I fill up every 9-10 days vs twice a week when I had the ford explorer. (plus its like 8-9 gallons to fill vs 13-14 gallons each time, I was getting raped back when it was $2 a gallon, couldn't imagine $3.22 like it is now.

i dont worry about it, i hvae a company truck that i can use for personal use whenever i want, so the 120 bucks cdn i put in everyday is not a big concern, lol.... also i work in the oil and gas field and it is not all about the companies makin trillions, there are more factors than 99% of the public know about....

Yeh these gas prices are crazy. I'm cutting off those expensive escorts. One hundred and fifty dollars for a half hour on craigslist was only doable when gas was $2.20 a gallon.

6.6L Diesel - Don't worry about about mileage or $/gal. I want to drive, when the price of fuel gets above $7/gal then I may start to look at other options.

Don't really care to be honest...and I'm far from rich.
Has anyone here had to choose between bread or gas?

I took my Camaro out yesterday. Gets 11 mpg when I keep my foot off of it, but I don't keep my foot off of it. Burned through about 8 gallons or 93 premium in a little less than an hour. So worth it.

These trucking companies can only carry the extra expense of fuel for only so long before they finally have to raise their deliver charges and thus passing it right on down the line to the consumer, affecting all retail prices on food, clothes and basically anything that is delivered by truck.
Trucks are what keep this country in business. It is surley going to happen where we will have to finally pay some of their fuel bill.

ok, one of the major problems is lack of processing facilities in the US or Canada... they cant handle the volume needed cause the sites are old and not big enough, now the problem is no enviromentalists will let them upgrade or even build a new one cause of how bad it is on the enviroment...so that means the demand is greater than the supply so the cost of gas goes up... second, a lot of these oil companies are based outta Europe now, but when they get gas they send it to the US for processing then they charge them for that then they need to get it back so we buy the original product back at a higher cost....tthird, is taxes.....fourth is the US dollar changes as the canadian $ goes up so does gas... hope this helps, i have a lot more if you want.... it is just not all about the gas companies getting rich, not totally anyway...
