Also, how is the size? The only complaint I can think of is it being pretty bulky in my pocket.

A guy I play softball with got one yesterday... Set it on the bench for maybe 5 minutes while he went to his car, came back and the screen was all f'd up.. Crystal like exploded or some shit. Needless to say he was pissed.

Looks great- and much smaller than I had anticipated. I have the Razor now and looks like it will be getting replaced in the near future.

My contract with Verizon ends in October. Hopefully by then they have a 2nd generation version out but I highly doubt it. I wish I could test one out for a few days to compare to the Treo's I've used. I use my smartphone for business emails and organization more so than web browsing/music/video.

Rev 2 shouldn't be out before December-January of this year. I'm going to either give this one to my brother or Mom and get the rev. 2 when it comes out.

Not sure what you mean? 500 isn't a lot for a phone you do know they have phones that cost 8 grand right? If you have money then why not spend some? I just purchased a new pair of HRE wheels for $5100 not including tires does that mean I don't have brains?

$500 is reasonable considering what you get. An iPod averages $200, mobile internet hand held device $100-$150, cell phone another $100-$150. That comes to $500.

The problem is that you went out and spent that kind of money and are cautious to take it out and use it for fear of it being stolen or someone wanting to grab it.

Cautious for now. Once the iPhone frenzy dies down and more are on the street I won't be cautious. It was the same way when the iPod first came out. I got the first gen iPod 2 weeks after they came out. Every time I used it on the subway a zillion people would ask to see it.

There are two reasons I didn't get a iphone one it doesn't use att HSDPA and the second is 8GB is too small, Carlos have you put some movies on it yet? I was wondering how big the video files are... I'm thinking 900MB each? So maybe next year they will have a 16GB HSDPA model now that I would buy!!

I have music, contacts, photos and 2 movies, 1 is a gig and the other movie is about 500 megs. I have over 4 gigs available.

i am late to this thread but i do want to comment. .why would this phone have bugs or issues? microsoft didnt make it! ... second i would love to have one but until sprint sells it i gotta hold off. i have an employee plan with sprint. i get every option for 30bucks a month. i wont switch.
