I'm down to only 3 things now and one of those is birthcontrol, the other two are for pain management.

ohhh god i can't fuking stand nancy grace!!! actually i painted some cabinets and did some tile for my roommates boss and his wife reminded me so much of nancy grace it drove me up the fukking wall!! loud and obnoxious and thought she knew everything.

there is some stuff that is funny on intervention. but the majority of it hits close to home so i know what these people are going through, from both sides.

yeh i mean i had a god awful meth problem that destroyed my life at one point,
have been to prison & the nutty house so during the actual interventions sometimes i'll get teary because I know what its like to be in a fvcked up spot in life.
I think its actually how the family deals with it that I find funny, because my family would do the same crap.
I just have a certain way I deal with people like that now, and its not feeling sorry for them. Because thats actually 99% of what I wish people wouldn't have done for me back then.

well it's more of a mental illness than an addiction, but he stopped taking his medication and needs to go to rehab, so I assume that's why he needs an intervention.

And yeh the OCD that guy has, I hate to say it but I don't think he has a chance, intervention or not. Hes too deep into it.

No they won't put him in rehab, they'll prob find some high end psych ward.

I found a strength in there that I was more forced to have, unlike rehab where you don't really need to be strong to really get through a day.

But as a psych major, when I went into the psychward (I'm not crazy it was just withdrawl related stuff) you get to meet some of the MOST INTERESTING people you'll ever meet in your life.

Like you know how you have a really awesome conversation with someone and walk away like "WOW".
Some of those people with schizophrenia or severe bipolar its one of the craziest things you can imagine. I talked to this one girl for 4 hours who was a paranoid schizo. And she would literally walk up to people and say "please don't rape me".

I have no idea what she had been through. But I tried so hard trying to make her understand noone was gonna hurt her, there was security everywhere, nothing would happen.
And after like 4 hours she asked me "so you promise your not gonna rape me if I go to sleep". And even though I wanted to cry for her, I realized like she just wasn't living in reality, even though she was human it was like I was just talking to something else. Which is one thing that actually helped me a lot, was you need to accept and understand other peoples realities.
From your perspective is seems horrible, but from theirs you really have no idea what is going on in their head, so you just stop trying to figure it out. And that was prob one of the hardest things for me to do my whole life, to really understand some people just can't be helped at all, or from their mind, don't need to be.
