Its a good diet but i'm not seeing much gain on the scale (and my workout IS in check)...i feel like i need to be adding more groud beeff.....anything, guys?

FRUIT!!! and of course brown rice is good too. ive been eating the shit out of quinoa lately which is not only a great source of carbs and efa's, but also a good source of complete protein

bring water to rolling boil. dump in quinoa for about 4-5 minutes no longer, then strain out as much water as possible. thats the standard method of cooking it but a buddy who is a professional chef gave me a different one that really kicks ass and it goes as follows: heat oven to 350. bring 1 qt of chicken, beef, or vegetable broth to rolling boil. dump in 1 lb of quinoa. once its boiling again, put a tight lid on pot and stick whole thing in the oven for about 15 minutes or until all broth is absorbed. you can mix just about any vegetables or seasoning in it. i personally like to cook up some ground turkey and diced tomatoes and just mix in with it after the quinoa is finished cooking
