Dukkit; yah I'll look into it. a big problem for me is I can't do squats
I know someone probably just stabbed their computer screen, but I have horrendous knees, I can barely do leg press or leg extensions without them killing me. Doctor told me not to run or anything but I'm not that much of a *****. It's a lack of cartilidge (sp?) or some crap.
I can do deads though, those feel fine, squats rip them apart though. It's a horrible horrible feeling like your knee cap will burst.

For sure dude, the diet definitely works from what I've heard. I'm just trying to decide if I wanna do it now or kinda focus on building up (while still losing fat of course, just not focused on that) over the next couple months and then cut down Palumbo style after christmas or something right before the winter ends.
If I lost 20 pounds of fat I'd look pretty jacked up though.

Yeah it does blow haha. Sounds good man I'll look into it. I don't really care about strength cause i'm more into bodybuilding than strength training, but it really annoys me that when I was 18 and 200 lbs I could bench 350 and now I'm much bigger and 235 and I could do maybe 295? Confusing
That 5X5 program will probably help jack up the base muscles nicely before a cycle too, I'll check it out.

Yeah might wanna get a diet that will help you build strength and muscle while burning fat at the same time during the winter then go to the extreme and do the palumbo diet. That sounds good to me
Its all depending on what you want, do you wanna look better or does your ego wanna feel better from lifting heavier. Sometimes with diets as such you gotta leave the ego at the door and just focus on one goal, and thats the "look". You may not get the attention in the gym of everyone like "wow look how much he lifts" but you'll get the attention at the gym and everywhere else of "wow look at what he looks like"

I agree 100% man. The plan of excessive muscle with moderate fat loss for now sounds like the way to go, then dice it up and drop the fat when I'm happy (probably 260/270 ha :P).
And for the ego stuff, I'm with you on that dude. I don't really worry bout it, I don't need to get stronger, cause I still get looks at my gym for being bigger than 90% of the people there (it's a "health club"...). So I'm way more concerned with the look than the weight, it's just when the weights i'm using go DOWN that it confuses me, it doesn't make me sacrifice my form and try to grab heavier for my ego though, just makes me think "what the f&%"

Well for a living? My day job I'm currently at is at a gym, I sell memberships (I know I know, I'm one of "those" guys) so nothing special, but my view includes lots of ladies too! But I'm a musician career wise, the gym just pays the bills and gives me a free membership.
Florida eh? I would love to visit there someday.

I now how it is. I take pride in my strength and alot of people love watching some of the crazy shit I be doing then when trying to slice up its like fuuck and also with trying to do preexhaust stuff it can mess with the ego. Ok. So check this. i'm a naturally anxious guy, and my patience is runing out.
My diet is:
1. oats (150g) in jogurt (250g) + cottage cheese (125g)
2. sweet potatoes (250g) + tuna (125g)
3. rice (250g) + steak (150g)
4. Sweet potatoes (250g) + 9 egg whites.
5. Oats (150g) + shake (30gprot)
6. Turkey (150g) + sweet potatos (250g)
On WO days i'll add a shake+apple as PWO
My rutine is:
Day 1: Chest (12 set) -tris (9sets)
Day 2: Back (14 sets) - bis (9 sets)
Day 3: rest
Day 4: Shoulders (12 sets)
Day 5: Legs (14 sets)
Day 6: Rest
Day 7: Repeat.
And its NOt working as i wish. I'm getting some fat but not enough muscle. I wanna cry in foetal position!
