i tend to agree, im a pretty good skier and like it. Ive only boarded a couple time and suck at it, but everyone tells me if you do it a couple more times you'll love it so im gonna take a crack at it this winter

I've got two trips planed this winter already...1 to telluride and 1 to vail
also I drive up to jay peak in vermont a lot

went skiing once and it beat the hell out of me, i hated it so bad the fact that little 3 year olds were passing me and i would get going to fast and fall and hell when a fat guy falls its no fun lol skis went everywhere and on the last day of the trip i thought i could ski pretty good well i road to the top and it was a blizzard up there couldn't even see and it took me an hour to creep my way down and fell about 30 times, not fun

you're going to want something with two ends so you can do tricks eventually.
so, a freestyle, not an alpine board.
go to a ski shop and see what looks pretty, then buy it on e-bay
