I bought a new car. Dealerships are giving them away they're so desperate to move stock. There was a Dodge dealer offering "2 for 1." My beat to shit old gas guzzling truck kept breaking. I was in a rental car so much the cost of buying a new car almost balances.

I just got a nice deal and low interest. Honda isn't in the same dire straights as other manufacturers, and so the deals aren't as sweet, but it's reliable, gets decent mileage, and has really good resale value.

I bought a black Civic Si. First car I ever paid for that wasn't American with a V8.

It's quick and gets good mileage. I have to commute to everything since I live in the cuts, and the $4/gal gas was killing me with the 350 V8.
