I am legend ....If you didnt see it back off
OMFG...... STUPID !
First off i would like to say that this movie had A LOT of potential but they screwed it up big time. I am not going to go a full review but here are just two things that got me confused. First mistake, missing huge time periods in between scenes. I would have like to have seen the destruction of mankind. Also the end was so ...stupid ! I mean i understand it but come on. I felt like they just jumped around and then BAM, ended it.
Two thumbs down.

i agree... the ending was crap. had loads of potential... I feel like they left out important info... i know it was intentional, to help add to the feel of lonliness and hopelessness... but c'mon... in the spirit of this thread, i give it one cock and ball down.. and one ball up. haha

I thought it was great, but you have to read the book to really understand why it is great. It doesnt do justice to the book, but it still creates the same atmosphere.

Of course they screwed it up. That is all Hollywood does these days.
So many movies have potential yet they royally **** it up.
Another one of Hollywood's major ****ups is "Alien vs Predator". That movie pissed me off and it doesn't look like the second one is any ****ing better. Sure it is more violent but that is like me handing you a shit sandwhich and you complaining about the taste so I hand you a pack of ketchup. I mean wtf?***No source checks!!!***

I thought it was cool until the monster people started attacking his house. I mean they are supposto be humans that caught a virus, now they have the ability to put their head through bulletproof glass? WTF how strong does this virus make your cranium? The monster people in the end ruined it for me.
I went with a chick and jumped out of my seat a few times. She thought it was cute, but I n4ever called her again.

lol... I went with my current gf while we were still in the initial stages of dating and she was freaked out, she held on to my arm so tight, it was sweet.
Anyways I enjoyed the movie, although the ending could have been much better. I heard the alternate ending that comes with the DVD is supposed to be way better, but I haven't seen it yet.

i didn't like that movie. I found it too much religious. I can't see any potential. For example..science is bad. science will kill the humanity if the men goes on trying to be like God (it's the same topic as in Frankenstein).
In the film humanity is corrupt (it doesn't matter the cause) and the men have become beasts. Only one man survived. he doesn't believe in God. He's looking for a salvation. There is play between "light" and "darkness". Humanity lives in darkness. The savior wants to bring light. The most important moment of the film: the savior offers the darkseekers the salvation but they turned it down.
I think that the beasts are a portrait of the modern world. We are the darkseekers. We can't see the light.
To cap it all, in the end the existance of the colony is the proof that God exists.
I found it too much romantic, too much religious. I don't agree with that vision of things.

^^Talk about over-analysis
I thought it had potential.. but got ****ed up.
Just like 'no country for old men'.
Bah.
Watched that one twice...still didn't get the point of keeping the camera rolling after the hero died.
Bleh x 2.

I thought it was a superficial analysis...
Perhaps i have to give an explanation. My first degree in the university was on literature. So i m kind of professional analysts of books and films. Im doing something different by now but i could'nt help thinking about books and films in the way i did it when i was a student.
