I actually watch the shoe.. but i can not believe they let him back into that house. That place is a danger zone. And his roomates are jerks. They all wanted him back and yet his 1st night back they party, except for Sarah she is starting to grow on me, that was cool for her to stay with him. That would suck being woke up @ 4am to a bunch of drunks.. just being out of rehab. Now I wish he would of beat the crap out of that Dave guy, he seems like a punk. and Brea is a whore. Did you see what she wore out one night, what a tramp...

I don't think going back to the house is where he needs to be, he stated several times that he is "fighting for his life" it's a lot more serious than the other roommates think. I'm proud of Sarah for sticking by him and being concerned, everyone else acts like they care but are too selfish to realize that sometimes they need to think about other people. Joey needs a support system and being waken up every night by his drunk roommates doesn't help.
Addiction runs deep and it's rare that people are able to fight it 100%, I hope that he can make the right decisions for himself and what he needs in his life. I think he has a new outlook and he really does seem like a great person at heart.

Thanks for your opinon chopper!
I really feel for Joey and hope that he can make it through the rest of the show. I don't see how he can though, he defiently has NO support from the roomates except for Sarah. She is really a nice girl. I thought that she was going to be a statistic after the first couple of shows when she had a little thing for Will.
I really hope, like someone said, that Joey can find a support group.

I'm kinda curious what he'll do after the show. I have worked at a lot of bars and night clubs over the years and we have many promotional nights when we have the kids from the recent casts of the real world as guests. The common theme once the show is over is that those kids travel around the country going from night clubs and bars for the clubs promotions. They get paid for their appearances and have free hotel stay, meals, and all they can drink. (not to mention it seems like a race for the local bar patrons to see who can do drugs with them in the bathroom so that they can brag to their friends that they did it with someone from tv.)
With that being said, I wonder what Joey will do after the show. Just from his appearance and style and personality, it seems like he would have been a lock for that type of scene after the show ended. But now, since he has decided to fight his addiction and whatnot, that would obviously be an environment he could not put himself into... so I'm curious to see what happens

It showed the previews for next weeks episode and it looks like hes packing up to leave for good.

It's sad that MTV would even let him come back on the show. At some point they need to take some responsibility and realize his life is more important than their ratings

He has been making alot of appearances at bars/clubs here in chicago, how he is dealing with the alcohol right now, I don't know... Last time I hung out with Joey was the week before he left for the show. He is a totally cool person when he isn't drinking, when he does drink he gets the mood swings like you see on the show.

He mostly drank hard alcohol and wine which dehydrates your body and appears that he eats spot on. Not hard to stay vascular while drinking the way he did, but thats not to say that you should.

The stretch marks on his shoulders are from steroids I am guessing

I'm 110% positive that drinking is not his only addiction. It's suppose to be the real world right?,,,well all you have to do is look at some of those guys and see that cigarettes are not the only thing they are smoking!!!! So I'm sure MTV is sugar coating his addiction, and its is probably drinking and some nose candy!!! I mean if they show everything that went on, how come we don't see that dude with the dreds smoking his @@@@??? Real world my ass!!!!

Joey's an attention whore. All his drunken fits are to satisfy that urge with the excuse of alcohol as a fallback.
Next time he takes a shot he'll blow 10 lines than move out crying like a bitch.

The bodybuilders I've seen on mtv have been so stereotypical. Too bad bodybuilders get negative attention like this.

Well, he decided to go home and his goodbye letter to cocaine and alcohol was amazing. I really hope he follows through with the year of rehab that he wants to do in Chicago.

I hate admitting that I watch this damn show but tonight was a pretty good one. I wish the best for Joey, it looks like he comes back for some reason later in the season from the previews they just showed.

I think he's just a dummy

Yeh I actually stopped watching this season.
Last season was a million times better with Dunbar, Kelly-Anne, etc because they just had better characters.
All the men in this one are annoying fem'd out bitches and all the women (except one) are snobby, classless and just boring.
Noone has a good sense of humor, everyone complains, and after everyone got in the tub naked when Joey said he was coming back just made me not wanna watch it anymore.
The Hills will always be my #1 show. =]

He needs to stay the hell away from alcohol. He's def. got some issues.

Please tell me you are joking....do you remember how he finished it. In case you guys didn't watch it, this guy is reading his "goodbye" letter to alcohol and cocaine and at the end he says (in a horrible Hulk Hogan impression mixed in with crying) "Watcha gonna do, when the 12 steps run wild over you" or some bullshit like that. Personally I just think Joey is a drama queen and I am glad he finally left the show. It wasn't a healthy place for him and then when he got back from Rehab he was acting like Debbie Downer because everybody was still partying. What the hell did he expect??? He saw the 1st 80 seasons of Real World enough to know that it is just a bunch of young kids who don't want to pay rent for a few months and get f-cked up.

I always wonder why he never took his shirt off in the show. I know he has stretch marks, but he is in good shape.

If you think about his personality and upbringing, the guy is so insecure I *guarantee* he's afraid to take it off on national tv.
You ever meet a fat chick who loses weight and is still afraid to wear a bikini when she looks great?
Or a person who gets plastic surgery and still thinks they look like shit?
The body can change its appearance but if the mind doesn't change with it - nothing really changes at all.
