Dark Knight review
INEXPLICIBALE...but you know me, I'll try!
Extraordinarily, and exemplarily electrifying, a conscientiously inautonomous (not actually a word, but there are multiple enduring allusions to Batman Begins) film that's unequivocally transcendent on every single possible theatrical level.
And duly dismiss even the plausibility of a sympathetic posthumous Oscar nomination for Heath. His performance was sublimely SUPERB, so much so that if it doesn't garner at LEAST a nomination (I fully expect him to win), it would be an egregious oversight of monumentally epic proportion!
I confidently predict that this movie will usurp all present major box office records in magnanimous fashion.
A MARVEL (pun because it's from DC) FROM START TO FINISH!

Heath was the shit. He played Joker quite well.
Now if only Batman had some throat lozenges...
lol I couldn't stop laughing every-time he talked. It was just too cheesy.
But yeah, awesome movie.

I loved Batman Begins, but 2 1/2 hrs of dark knight was a bit much. Movie was decent but way over hyped! It could have been split in to two movies.

I thought is was pretty could but nothing to write home about. I like Heath and I think he did a good job but I think his performance is getting blown out of proportion because of his death.

You know what freaked me out? If you go on youtube and watch all of the intervies Heath did after the movie and before he died you will notice a serious problem with him moving around, scratching his arms, and acting like he couldn't take 2 seconds of being in his own skin.
Wish this dude would have saw a therapist.

agreed.
he looks like a mental patient in this video. the role must have really screwed with him or he had a lot of problems going into it.
still, a fantastic performance, but damn, what a tragedy.

Saw it tonight & thought it was phenomenal. Heath Ledger - R.I.P.
Such a wonderful performance. I'm an Aussie too so his death hit home a little because i love all his other movies.
I've heard that to get right into the role of the character he didn't sleep for a week or so & was taking heaps of sleeping pills to look deranged.

Great Movie, cant wait for the third part. I hope they bring the pinguin for the third part that is the other dark character I can think of when it comes to Batman.

Actually its partially right he didnt start living the joker life, he got into this character so much that even when he was no in the set he was still playing the joker. Also he got so interested on the joker that he started reading and reading about the joker to the point that he found out how "dark" the character was that he couldnt sleep and stuff like that. He would have nightmares and some other shit. Thats when he started taking sleeping aids and stuff like that and boom thats when he OD'ed. That's my two cents on what I have heard. Regardless its a pretty messed up situation what happen to him. R.I.P. to me that is a true dedicated actor.
