The marry anything is just paranoia speaking. Both parties have to be able to give some type of consent so an animal does not count.

What do these people say about religions who allow marriage between a grown man and girls 8 or 9 yrs old? There are countries/religions that do this regularly and then we still have the arranged marriages and marriages where the father is the one who takes the virginity of the bride (ewwww) but it is all within documented religions/cultures and is going on to this day.
