Some of you guys have interesting taste. I like how everything is extreme.
The Evo and sportbike are my style - but I'm stuck taking the bus for a few more years.

Here was my baby with the dyno sheet to prove it. Keep in mind that's wheel horsepower and wheel torque. Of course every dyno is different and dyno numbers don't mean much but it was a super fast car.
I miss it but I think I was getting a bit old to be in it LOLLast edited by PittBoy; 04-09-2009 at 06:57 AM.

yep
my old boss had one like yours with about the same horsepower and we would take it out after work and just kill some mustangs and cameros
we even crushed a few porches. that was so much fun
till we came across an audi S4 i think it was, on the PA turnpike and he murdered us doing 140mph!
lol
but it was a hell of a race

hmmmm no not at all.......my brothers and I only BUILT the suspension for his 10 inch lifted Samurai with a VW turbo diesel. A hummer can't hold a candle to that or our '79 cherokee with trencher tires. The new ones are crap offroad...period....gm is crap too. I have 4 ford broncos i'll bet 100,000 dollars can get further than your hummer

The pic of the bike is in Sturgis, SD. (Never set the date on the camera) The formation in the backgound is Devils Tower in Wyoming. Very sacred to Native Americans. Looks even cooler in person. I head up there every August for the rally......................................Trailer s are for Pvssies.......So are R.V.'s!!!

Pittboy what times did your car run 0-60mph & 1/4th ?

Hey big....sorry I missed this.
I never ran a timed quarter and the airport runs were a supposed 1/8th of a mile. They were setup more for grudge match runs and were very basic. A chick with a flashlight to start you off and some cones for the finish line. Based on the setups of others with a good launch, on pump gas I should have ran high 11's. On a good race gas tune and good driving the car should have been in the high 10's.
Never measured my 0-60. With that setup the 0-60 wasn't that great though. A completely stock version EVO or STI could crush me in the 0-60. My car was setup more for topend. Ideal run would be atleast 1/4 mile. Was still fun though.
Sucked that the closest real drag strip was over an hour from me. I didn't want to break something that far away.
I should have went with a blouche dominator 3.0 turbo too...same power levels but it spooled more like a stock turbo. So I would have run much better on the shorter tracks...Was still a fun car and I had some good times with it.
If I had to do it again I would have bought one already built and saved a lot of cash.
Built cars don't sell much more than stock ones...........

I don't have a pic of my car, but this one is similiar. Mine has a black drip rail moulding and belt moulding instead of the chromed you see in the picture. This is also an older model than mine.

Thanks! I do miss it.......
Not everyone likes the lag of a big turbo....but to me it would be the equivalent of Test E for forum's sake. It may not take off like a rocket but once you feel it kick in........watch out!!!
I still did beat chevelles, GTO's, malibu's, mustangs and those kinds of cars 0-60. Anything else AWD with a turbo and I would be in trouble in that short distance.
I would launch at 4,500rpm too.....feathering out the clutch of course.
