did you go to church this week?
I attend every Sunday at least.
What was this weeks message at your church?
Ours was about people that call themselves Christians and genuine Christians.
Lately I have been moved to spend more time with the Lord God and help the church I am a member of.
My last 2 Christian threads got locked.....don't let this happen to this one.

I go to one church 6 times a week where I preach for 1.5 hours to my body, then I go to regular church every Sunday.

Assembly Of God church.supposed to be know for accepting people for their diferentces.
I am actually in the worship band and we use that time to worship God and to help people get in the worship mood and if Gods precence if being felt and God is moving and dealing with people we will play the whole service!
We don't do like some churches where everything is the same all the time. We leave the door open to what God has in order that day,not what the Preacher has in order for us ( for he is open to Gods wants also )

I rarely ever miss church. It's one of the very few places where I'm unable to boast in my own selfish agenda. It's a safe place where I find more joy in giving than receiving.

I go to church every week. (The mosque rents out the church's parking lot, haha. )
EDIT: This is one of the reasons why I have a certain level of appreciation and soft spot for Christians. You will find throughout America that they are very generous to local mosques or Muslim populations. Whilst in university, the women's YMCA (sp?) allowed us to pray in their building. What thanks did we give them? We destroyed their bathrooms every week..a jihad on their bathrooms, if you will. Pretty pathetic.Last edited by BuffedGuy; 02-03-2009 at 02:58 PM.

it,s best to not worry about those things and go to worship God and his son and turn your problems over to Christ.
please don't let those few keep you from the glory of God!
i feel the same way about the politics but I won't let that keep me from giving God what I have to offer and to recieve what God has for me!

LOL and hope that the pastor wasn't preaching about partying, swearing, false idols, drinking or anything else that would ruin your super bowl party...
