It really is insane and I dont know how I do it most of the time. I know when my wife comes in the room at 1pm (1am for me) after I have been asleep maybe 3 hrs and wakes me to tell me something stupid or show me something she bought I want to strangle her and throw her out of the room. It seems she always does this JUST as I'm getting some real rem sleep.

Honestly anything over 4 -6 hrs straight and my back and shoulders start hurting to much to stay asleep no matter what kind of bed I am sleeping on. Floor, pillow top, high end Serta, memory foam (the worst) or most anything else. Only bed I remember not hurting in was a water bed LONG time ago.

I wouldn't know what to do if I got a real 8 hrs sleep without getting up. lol I also switch back and forth due to my shift each week. I will sleep nights 3 days a week and days 4 then switch to 4 nights and 3 days.
