I know but I guess it was the way you presented yourself by acting cocky like you would be Mr Olympia and its easy when you haven't even done a contest since you started training at what you said 17 and are now 23.
You gotta be realistic my man and listen to advice from the ones that have been doing this for years upon years. We all aren't Ronnie Colemans or Branch Warrens, plus you aren't running 5+ grams of gear, 20-30 iu of growth, slin, t3, peptides out the yin yang etc so just do what you can to the best of your ability and go get your feet wet in a show
I'm willing to bet Phil Heath and Evan had parents that are really really well off and were able to afford to sponsor them for a while unlike you and me. We have to actually go out and get a job and work hard, just like Ronnie and Branch, we'll at least I am working cause I gotta or no money equals no bodybuilding.
Constantly putting one off will push your goal further and further away and you may realize that is far to late to accomplish anything one day. Get a date for a show, plan on the process to get there, and just do it. Don't worry about how you look or feel cause I promise you it isn't easy to get your self in contest shape no matter what you think.

i ****ed up and cut medium carb days too low one week....resulting in cravings that literally made me wake up at night and eat carbs and forget about it.....so i failed....again....3rd time's a charm though....there can be no stopping me this time...i'll do it no matter what....my head WILL be right.

I just find this odd now you're saying it was cause you screwed up your carbs when I thought it had to do with the signing up form or something like that is what you said yesterday and that you are going down to Texas
Yeah its been tough here and there for me and I wanna go grab a pizza but I stay strong and just go on, like you said I love what i do so to me the struggle is half the fun.
I gotta love it cause if I do make it far what am I going to do if I have to do multiple shows in a year as a national level competitor having to qualify then Jr Nationals then the USAs then at the end of the year nationals or if I get lucky and go pro having to do multiple shows as well to make money.
I think thats another thing you need to think about Ruhl, if you can't diet for one show how the hell you gonna go pro or compete nationally. You have to qualify for certain shows so that means multiple shows a year and year round dieting.
I pretty much diet year round just changing up the amount of food I eat and carbs cept during the offseason I have cheat meals.... instead contest dieting I refeed....

so I've heard I start my depletion in a few days. Probably dip low in overall weight then carb up, deplete one more time for the last show, carb up.
Then gain 20-30 lbs like a lot of guys do when they get off a contest diet while I take that entire week off after the last show to 1. give my muscles and CNS a much needed break, and to hopefully get out of this unhealthy low body fat state I am in, can't wait to get fat and happy

in terms of adding alot of muscle really quickly....it's happened to me both times i've done a contest diet....i get alot of muscle along with the fat water if i keep trainin.

I know but I need a break. What i plan to do is come off. Train for a few weeks then start priming for a short burst cycle so I can then take advantage of that rebound affect. But for now I'm thinking my body is in order for a break, I have literally pounded the shit out of myself and its time to back off.
