Yet another interesting interview, I would have never thought that someone would have brought up the Drake Equation. I will have to read it again to fully absorb the content.

11-21-2009, 11:49 AM #155marcus300 interviews Swifto
marcus300: Welcome Swifto, I fully understand that you want to remain annonoymous so I would like to thank for taking part,
Swifto: Hi mate. I'd just like to thank you for this opportunity and I'll try and answer the questions as best I can.
*cough* (excuse me)....
Right, lets go...
marcus300: What area are you from?
Swifto: I live in the UK and have done all my life. I also live on the coast which is nice. Gotta love the seaside! Fish and chips, mushy peas with a pickled egg!
Members question: Are you white or black?
Swifto: White.
marcus300: In your 11 facts you mentioned that you was expelled from 3 schools, that's some going, what was you like going through school and why did you get expelled so many times?
Swifto: Ha ha...Yeah, I was a bit of a naughty boy. I'm fortunate enough to have been privately educated all my life. Well...Upto 18 years old. I had the chance to go to University, but I choose not too. I was at boarding school from 12 years old too 16 coming home some weekends. I loved it. They were some of the best times of my life. We used to run riot at night running around the grounds (over 100 acres in the country) being chased by the duty supervisor in the middle of the night. We covered our faces to not get recognised. Run about then quickly jump back into bed fully clothed covered in mud before the supervisor (who was a teacher) came into the dorm's. We got caught more than once as he/she would come in turn the light on and tell us to get out of bed. The ones in tracksuits covered in shit were the ones in trouble. That's called being caught red handed!
I got expelled from 3 different schools/colleges for various things ranging fighting to hacking into the IT department and trying to take control of the college computers with an accomplice! Ha ha.. I didn't get on very well at school, I was always upto no good. Although I was very sporty. I was one of the clever ones, but never really used it. Instead of doing my homework, I'd be asking the classroom nerd for his to copy the day it needed to be handed in! My passion was sport. I liked PE and loved football and rugby.
marcus300: How did your parents deal with such a naughty boy lol?
Swifto: My parents divorced when I was 6, so it was more my mother. She wasn't happy at all.
marcus300: You come across as a very educated guy, what qualification do you have?
Swifto: I have an A level in Business Studies and national qualifications in Personal Training, Diet and Nutrition, Sports Massage Therapy and Injury Rehabilitation.
marcus300: What are your current stats?
Swifto: I'm a little over 200lbs at 10% 5"11 (Ecto). Like to be 220-240 at around 10-12%.
Members question: You wrote "I'm only 23 years old". That "only" sounds weird to me. Please explain what you meant.
Swifto: I think a lot of members think I'm older than I actually am. That's the feeling I get when I tell them my age via PMs. I also get this when meeting new people in real life. I guess it comes in useful going into casino's and night clubs!
Members question: I know you don't want to reveal much about who you are, thats fine but could you tell us what area roughly do you make a living in i.e. sales, computers, retail ECT and in the future what would you like to do?
Swifto: I make money from very profitable organisations. That's all your getting!
marcus300: You ever been to prison?
Swifto: No, but my father has more than once. I have been in trouble with the law and got 240 hours community service. Never been in trouble since.
marcus300:When did you first cycle and would you do anything different with what you know now?
Swifto: I did my first cycle at 19 and I'm 23 now (24 in Feb). I used 500mg/wk Test Enan with Tbol at 60mg/ED for 8 weeks. No AI. PCT with Clomid/Tamox. I got acne very badly and still have the scars on my chest/back/shoulders. I also got a small case of gyno. Knowing what I know now, I would have used Test Prop at 100mt/EOD, with Tbol at 60mg/ED, HCG 250ius 2x week, Aromasin 10mg/ED for 8-10 weeks. PCT with Tore/Clomid.
marcus300: Did you experience any kind of sides and did you recover good?
Swifto: As above, I got acne very badly. I still have the visible scars now nearly 5 years on from my first cycle. I cycled again after that but used accutane when it flared up and it controlled it a bit better, but it was still evident. I have recently been playing with carious compounds alone to determine which cause acne. I ALWAYS now have accutane on hand when cycling. I also got a small case of gyno. I have tried ATD/Rolax to reduce it, which it did marginally. I'm yet to try Letro. Estrogen ablatation will cause cell apoptosis, so that maybe my last hope before surgery. I've also used Tamox for 4 months with no avail. I recovered fine and used HCG. The 2nd cycle was a little harder as I was "on" for about 17 weeks.
marcus300: How bad was the acne what you had while on cycle and will it stop you from future cycles?
Swifto: It was bad. I couldn't wear white as some of them ouzed blood and puss and I'd make others bleed if I banged my back. My sheets on my bed were always bloodied and dyed with the creams/gels I was using to combat it. I'm not doing that again! No way. I have little white dots all over my shoulder/back/chest where the acne was, although faded, its visible if you look close enough.
I tried all of the tetracyline antibiotics (Tetracycline, Lemicycling, Doxycycling etc...) and none of them helped. Doxy did slightly, but it never stopped until I ran Accutane (Isotretinoin). That cleared it up in 5-6 weeks, but I got chapped lips and dry eyes! I also got BW done every 4 weeks when I run that stuff, its fairly hepatoxic. I never cycle without a supply here now. If you haven't cycled? You should have some on hand. You should have all the adequate ancillary meds incase you NEED them. Always carry Letro/Tamox. Caber for 19-Nor's, Tore/Clomid for PCT and accutane for acne. I dont have problems with MPB or erectile dysfunction, but I have a supply of cialis for shits and giggles!!
marcus300: What made you look very deeply in PCT protocols and compounds?
Swifto: I didnt bounce back aswell as I hoped after cycling, so I decided to dig deeper into PCT meds and protocols. All my BW came back fine, but it took me 6-8 weeks to be back fully. After my first cycle I was on for around 17-18 weeks as I got pnuemonia during the final weeks. My original plan was 12 weeks. Then I didn't want to come off and go through PCT recovering from pneumonia. I had already lost over 20lbs! So with longer cycles I didnt recover like others do. Incorporating HCG throughout, using an AI and using SERMs such as Toremifene really helped and I recover fine. I actually had a bloodtest yesterday and get the results on Monday after this weekend.
marcus300: ; What's the best advice you would give a newbie just starting out in bodybuilding with regard to AAS use and training?
Swifto: Build a good base first. "Build the house before you paint it", as the late SwoleCat said to me once. There's no reason (i dont think) why someone around 6ft couldn't get to 200lbs+ at around 10% with a decent diet and training protocol. I cycled to early and didnt listen to the advice. I look the best I've ever looked now and haven't shut myself down (HPTA) in nearly 4 years and am still gaining. You must stay consistent. Never skip the gym (unless your ill) and dont cut corners. Eat your meals and dont rely on supplements too much. Solid meals are best but shakes have there place PWO. The only supps. I take are BCAA's, Creatine Mono, a MultiVit, VitC, Digestive Enzymes and Om ega 3. I also take glucosamine for joint support sometimes. Lots of water.
marcus300: What's your training routine look like?
Swifto: I switch between HIT and high volume or periodization. HIT for 4 weeks followed by a peroidization programme for 4-5 weeks. Cardio 4x week 70-80% MHR (cross trainer or bike). I have a knee injury at present so its been difficult with cardio and I'm unable to train legs. I think I have damaged my medial collateral ligament as I have a positive McMurry's Test.
marcus300: Ive known you for many years and your one hell of a good researcher, probably the best I've seen for someone so young, have you always been a keen reader of knowledge?
Swifto: Thank-you. I like to read and read. I spend hours looking at articles and studies. I never seem to get bored. I've always been one to ask LOTS of questions. Sometimes too much and I can tend to overanalyze things. When I find something that interests me, such as AS, I seem to learn fairly quickly. I learn everyday from members here and at other boards too. You can never know enough in this subject I dont think.
marcus300: What are your hobbies other than bodybuilding?
Swifto: I like to play football, but am currently out of action due to injury. I also like to play golf. I also like and know alot about horse racing.
marcus300:Where would you like to be in 12 months time?
Swifto: I'd like to be living with my girlfriend with a successful personal training business.
marcus300: Where would you like to be in 10 years from now?
Swifto: Married with kids living in the country. Retired too would be nice! I've always wanted to own my own gym or supplement company.
marcus300: Does your family and girlfriend know about your AAS use?
Swifto: Yes, both. But they know how much I research about AS and that I have a fair degree of knowledge on the subject. My GF doesnt like the fact my libido may drop during PCT!!
Members question:Don't you think that a horse racing is a form of violence towards those animals?
Swifto: Not at all. Although sometimes race horses are pushed fairly hard at a young age (2 year olds) I wouldn't mind being a race horse! There fed the healthiest diets, they visit the world, they get to run, there exercised daily, are kept in perfect condition and if there successful, there sold to stud and get to **** over 100 mares a season whilst being kept in the best conditions available (grounds, diet etc..). I'd love to be a race horse!
marcus300:What as been the happiest time of your life so far?
Swifto: I had a lot of fun when I was at boarding school, probably at my parents expense (pun intended) though! I like life in general, its hard to pick a best moment. I enjoy everyday.
marcus300: Do you have a girlfriend or children?
Swifto: I have a girlfriend that I have been with for 9 months now and am very happy. She's a Christian and probably the nicest person I have ever met. I'm very fortunate to have her as my girlfriend. I dont have any children, no, not yet.
marcus300: Do you have your own place or still at your family's house?
Swifto: Own place. I own more than one property.
marcus300: Where have you travelled to on holiday?
Swifto: I've been to lots of places, from the USA to Thailand. There are LOTS of places I want to go though. Been to most of Europe aswell. I love to visit new places.
marcus300: Where in the world would you most like to visit and why?
Swifto: Erm....Thats a tuff one... I'd like to go to Australia or Hawaii.
marcus300: 3 wishes, what would you wish for?
Swifto: 1. To be happily married with healthy kids.
2. To have good health.3. To have 3 more wishes of course!
Again, thanks for the opportunity Marcus
There are a few questions what Swifto didn't answer and we have to respect that, we all have different circumstances.
Comments are welcome
