Anybody here working in the publishing field?
Hi guys.
As some of you may know, I've been working on my anthology for a while now.
It was supposed to be released this year, but I was told by my publisher that the project was far too large (from the cost of printing perspective) to be released as one book. She asked that I divide it into multiple pieces. Personally, I don't think it will be as impactful if it's broken up... so I'm looking for a cost-effective manner of printing/publishing.
If you guys have any ideas or tips, hit me up.
Thanks.

Anthologies are mostly in a single volume .. Is your publisher in the US ? if not have you been in contact with any publishers in the USA yet ?

Just call a bunch of different printers and get quotes, how many copies do you want printed? are you selling this book commercially, or just for self.
You could pay a graphic designer to help with the layout and have the print work sourced.
