I don't feel sad that Longhorns lost because the team last night wasn't the team that work hard all season for the #1 Spot. Alabama struggle with a Team that was guided with a UNEXPERIENCE QUATERBACK........I know if McCoy would of play we would of won the game easy. there was 2 different levels of teams playing last night, texas had zero chance in that game.
the tide put it on cruise control, texas was physically outmatched in every area last night..

texas still had a good year major, u should be proud....nothing wrong with being number 2....

except being number 2 is nothing more then being the first LOSER..................

Alabama was less than an 80 yard drive from losing to a team with a quarterback who is barely 18 years old. They took advantage of the situation and had one big quarter. What were you watching, and what were you smoking while you were watching it?

I can't speak for Nick Saban, but personally I would be a little worried if I gave the ball up to a team that just drove 70 yards and scored a touchdown when I'm only up by three points. You do realize that Alabama was only up by three points and didn't have the ball with three minutes left in the game, don't you?

Anyone else think that Alabama would have had their asses handed to them swiftly last night if Colt McCoy wasn't ejected in the second or third play??? I truly feel like Bama was not even NEARLY on the same level as the longhorns. The Horns QB Gilbert threw for loss, had no idea what he was doing, threw 4 interceptions (if i remember) and lost the ball couple times...he HURT the longhorns heavily and McCoy would have GREATLY HELPED the longhorns. It would be suffice to say the score would have been 30's to 7 or so Horns had McCoy played the whole game. The offense was ready to explode, at least that what I could see that first couple minutes up till Colt got injured. I feel real bad for the longhorns and now we will never know the truth...i'm sure even Bama fans have to be a little dissapointed.

What does draft placing have to do with anything? Maurice Drew was a late second round pick. Tom Brady was a sixth round pick. What's your point?
