Millions is largely exaggerated, 10s of thousands of 15 year old ectos (the majority) maybe. He gave hope to people who thought they had no chance. But it's a false reality as he abused a fair few substances to get there, so not really the best inspiration or role model for a teenage kid IMO.

Lets leave the cheeky comments out..You don't talk about the fallen. He never did anything to anyone so he's gold in my book. And he was a fellow member of this board. There is no evidence to support you claims of abuse and if you use steroids your are in no position to make those accusations. Weather you want to admit it or anyone else. For starters there was nothing cheeky there mate, just my honest opinion of the truth, the evidence of steroid abuse is all over the Internet. Because I have used steroids I can't call someone else out on using steroids, not sure what you're getting at there, his cause of death is what you have been told by his loved ones, wether the story of a preexisting heart condition is true or not, he died of some thing that can be associated with certain cutting compounds he has openly talked about using on various forums. It was in Thailand of all places, not to mention a sauna, I'm sure you are well aware there are many compounds he has expressed using that will raise your body temperature to dangerous levels, combine that with a sauna and very possible dehydration......im not here defame or disrespect anyone, he achieved greatness and inspired many and lived a life I'm sure most people would envy. But he is no god nor a good role model on many levels.this is my opinion with no disrespect to him nor his family, as I have found him entertaining, and somewhat inspirational. But so many look upto him wide eyed with their blinkers on. There are millions of people in the world with a better body, he just appears to have a very entertaining personality and put it out there for the world to see.

No one is bashing anyone for taking steroids... I don't see a problem with educated steroid use , I'm only trying to shine a bit of logic on the fact that there are now a generation of ecto teenage lifters who look upto someone one who may not have been the best role model, IMO it has just shed light on steroid use to kids that should not be using them, and no doubt may not have been exposed to it, there are many young obsessed zyzz fans that will stop at nothing to be like him, which can be very dangerous.

Typical zyzz fan throwing around "jelous haters". I'm not jelous, I admire him for his efforts and his achievements, do I believe he is a good role model... In many ways defernatly not.

Whats the point of sitting here bashing someone that is dead? He was just like the rest of us. He was a bi product of our society..and his fame pales in comparison to the abuse of professional body building and fame associated with it but its accepted right cause they made a arena for themselves called themselves Olympians and call themselves pro's???? I laugh at that then. He had access to them, he used them and thats what happened. How many people go to the supermarket, drug store or news stand and see all the mags with steroid abuse all over the stand covered with guys using and abusing drugs..might as well call the big guys here abusers then too. He in no way cause massive influx of steroid abuse as you call it compared to the world of professional bodybuilding and its mass hysteria.

bro how do u know he abused steroids ? he probably knew more than most of this board. also he literally inspired millions of people to start lifting. theres a whole new generation of kids in Australia that have started because of him and its only spreading. no one had that big of an impact on bodybuilding besides arnold
