executive material with such a narrow focus. Suggest courses in history, economics, politics,
to at least stimulate your thought processes and perhaps gain you an insight into scientific approach

LOL...I have a masters of science in computer science, But my BA major was Economics. You seem to have a problem with narrow focus. Let me help you out here, NO ONE IS ARGUEING THAT THERE SHOULD NOT BE IMMIGRATION REFORM. Did you get that this time? I hope so.

The problem people are having is that you are a racist asshole who can't do his own research. You sit and google things to defend your beliefs but that is not the same as spending the time researching first hand FACTUAL information that has not been regurgitated and posted on the internet. People hear ignorant people give INCORRECT data and racist propaganda in regards to immigration reform and then they start to connect the two making it increasingly difficult for actual reform to happen. Every time an ignorant person spouts out rhetoric, it makes the subject a hot button for the politicians to approach.


So if you want immigration reform like I do, please do yourself a favor and disassociate yourself from it. That would be the best thing you could do to make it happen. If a few thousand closed minded fossils would follow suit, maybe it would finally get addressed.

This is my opinion for all members not just ones talked about or back and forth in this thread

Though I do believe a better and more sense of etiquette and humility for people when they realize they have misspoken or been proven wrong. I do disagree with a lot of post people make. I believe there are a lot of people that dis-agree with me. The issue of opinions is just that they are opinions and often times are as such that we can never fully prove right or wrong.

America and the world for that matter has become a place where there is no right or wrong only popular opinion which is scary since opinions for the most part are only what they have been shown in life, not what might or might not be true. So all and all we need to take our emotions out of these debates/arrangements and talk openly instead of getting so heated.


As far as doing "research" online, right now, given any topic we could all go out and find a well documented studies that prove one thing to a T, but all of them say the opposite of the other. same with facts, facts are only as good as the twist or spin on them, and you have to also have to realize that online many many sources are nothing more than products to be sold and they spin their information to the people they are selling it to. CNN, FOX, and MSNBC are all nothing more than products being sold to the American people, not to say there isn't any good information from those sources but each one of them do have a target population that they are "selling" their news to, so yes there will always be either stuff added or left out to make sure that the news they offer is what the people watching enjoy hearing.

I have personally found many posts offensive but instead of debating with the person only blowing up the issue i just ignore it and stop reading.

many people are attacking clemont, well I do agree clemont for most of your posts you are on the wrong type of forum, BUT he is doing nothing more than debating with other members and as long as people are willing to engage in a debate or battle of minds than clemont is not doing anything wrong until admin comes in and locks threads.

You made a lot of good points and everything else you said was responded with a very open mind which is very difficult for some people to do even when they try.
However, about this being the "wrong place". I think you are gravely mistaken. If you're speaking strictly under the context of board rules, then yes you have a great point. The rules don't allow racist insults, so common sense would say don't make racist threads. Even if their composed, eventually they'll lead to shit.
So under that view I agree.

However, I think the rules themself are kinda "out of form" I guess you would say.
The name of this website is "steroid .com". Take any stranger and ask them what type of expectations they would have just by the name. Likely very low. Then you come to the site and think "hmm, lots of information, much different than I expected". Then you realize you were impressed merely cause you came in with a biased mind. And thats not exactly impressing at all.

This IS the "lounge", and its for open topic talk. Also you have to consider the fact that this board itself has changed its own rules countless times from not allowing porn threads to allowing them.. to not allowing them, not allowing politic threads to allowing them back and forth etc etc. Even flame threads they've gone back and forth on and seem to never know whats "right" or "wrong". AR has for long been in an identity crisis and obviously its going to impact members too.

But I'll tell you straight up and simply. This is fvckn steroid forum for adult men. YES you get women, but very few, and most of them like to hangout together in their own little forum. The few that CAN interact are very thick skinned, and usually of a tomboyish nature themselves. We are not little kids. And if we can't discuss racist topics on here w/out people going overboard and getting offended over every little stupid fvckn thing someone says, I find that very depressing. In any educational setting you will find people often suspend the concept of getting offended JUST BECAUSE its for the aspect of learning. Like for literature we had to read the bible and criticize it at my uni. If a student ever got offended in that class and opened their mouth they were asked to leave. Tactful criticism was always welcome though, even not so tactful criticism.

On here, the ones that get offended provoke fights, then the ones with good points sometimes lash out, and get banned. Not even talking about myself but its just the whole dynamic itself I think is flawed. We are adults, if you don't want smut and porn all over your site fine, that makes sense. But if we can't talk about sensitive real world topics w/out needing to take out a fvckn violin every 2 minutes thats just sad. I truely find it sad. We are adults. Who the fvck cares. Its not neccessary, and admin is just babying all the stupid immature people that can't talk about complex subjects and go straight to the "oh no you didn't type shit. I really really really think its depressing.
